Background We sailed on the 8 day, southern Caribbean sailing (12/16/23 - 12/24/23) on Symphony of the Seas. This was our 24th sailing with Royal Caribbean. We also have several sailings with Princess and Celebrity, as well as one each with Norwegian and Carnival. Cabin (4 of 5) We were in a 2D cabin on the hump, not far from the aft elevators. No complaints about the cabin, but the ...

Everything about this ship is perfection! The design layout, the amenities, shows, stateroom design, dining room, list goes on. The artwork is breathtaking and fun. The interactive staircase piano is beautiful and creative and fun for people of all ages! The adult solarium is absolutely stunning and next level artistry! The pool decks beautifully designed. The aqua show was interesting show theme ...

I could party for hours listening to this new guy Bryan James. I talked to him and knew him from his Instagram and TikTok shorts- @Bryan James Cruise! He is in the Pub on Odyssey of the Seas. Also was in the band Country Crew Trio on Wonder. Overall everything was great. Room and attendants Dolly and Su were always terrific. This is a big ship and we have barely seen anything. Food is ...

LOUD Ship

Surprised cruising friends we hadn’t seen in 5 years. That was the best part. We are Royal Caribbean Diamond Plus. First time on Symphony. If you like really LOUD music almost constantly in the Promenade and where you need to shout at each other in the evenings to be heard, then this ship is for you. It was not what we have come to know and love on Royal Caribbean for the past 28 years. Also had ...

Cruising going downhill

Decided to return to cruising after last one just as COVID struck. First time on RCL and although we knew it was family orientated we didn’t think there would be so many kids considering they should be in school and only a few weeks before Christmas. This ship definitely has oodles to do for the younger set but that being said don’t expect to find a quiet place anywhere except your state room or ...

Our last cruise with Royal Caribbean was on Allure of the Seas several years ago, and we really liked that ship and decided to stick with Oasis class again. This particular cruise was the result of a previous booked cruise on Symphony that we had to cancel and rebook, so the itinerary wasn't the one we would have picked. I had expected Symphony to show some improvements over Allure since it was ...

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Liberty of the Seas

Haven't been on a cruise in over 20 years. Left Ft. Lauderdale on Monday, 11/27/23. 10 minutes from terminal to 4th deck bar (no joke it was THAT quick). Easy, easy, easy. 4 day cruise - 1 Coco Cay, 1 Nassau. I loved everything about this cruise, including our Jr. Suite, except the food. BIG disappointment. Yes you can have as much as you want, but I really felt like the portions ...

So much to enjoy!

Liberty of the Seas is a delightful ship with so much to enjoy especially on a 3 or 4 night itinerary. Embarkation was a breeze 5 minutes after being dropped off we were getting our welcome aboard photo and walking down the gangway directly stepping onboard. The Windjammer was open and had an abundance of food to select from. Everything we tasted was good and the service friendly. The exterior of ...

First time on Odyssey

We chose Odyssey for our first cruise back after the pandemic. We usually cruise on Oasis class ships but tried Anthem class this time. Also our family members have never been to Aruba which was another reason for choosing this ship. Embarkation was smooth and efficient and the proactiveness by the RC port staff was amazing. One of our family members was having difficulty walking and the port ...

Overcrowded

The Odyssey is a new ship with good staff. Chops and Giovanni’s had exceptional service and went beyond to provide a great dining experience. We went to the main dining on the formal night. The service was disappointing. It was not at the level we’ve experienced and expected. The food was ok. We were on deck 3 in a side area that felt like someone’s basement. Definitely zero atmosphere. ...
