Too Big, Fair Customer Service, and Food Is Not Great

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Harmony of the Seas

I was excited about the biggest ship in the world. I was impressed with the ship but not with Royal Caribbean. The customer service was not as friendly as it was in our previous cruises and the variety of the food was not great. the windjammer crowded with long wait lines or close. the solarium also crowded. the buffets don't provide trays for your food so you have to juggle your drink ...

**I will be posting this same review to all possible review sites as well in hopes that other people will be able to understand my experience.** I always thought that Royal Caribbean (hell i'm a platinum member) was better than Carnival Cruises but man has Royal Caribbean lost its touch since my last voyage. As the trip went on, I made a list of all the issues and problems I had on the cruise ...

Just came back from a seven night cruise on the Harmony of the Seas. This was our family’s 20th cruise (4th with RCCL) and it reinforced my love/hate relationship with Royal Caribbean. Let me go over the trip details gong first over the positives. The Good: 1- The Ship! I always admired RCCL for its innovations and their boldness on building bigger and more advanced ships. Harmony of the ...

The main dining room was awesome. Jeffrey and his team were enjoyable to be around. However, chops restaurant was the worse restaurant I have ever been too. The cost was 98 a person for steak that I couldn't even chew. Th waiter Noel left wlot t be desired. He had to have seen that we didn't eat the steak but never commented on it. Also if you wanted to add lobster it was an additional 30. ...

We chose Harmony of the Seas because we saw videos and reports of how wonderful the ship was. Gigantic, full of activities, beautiful and the great restaurants and shows. I will be honest, the ship has great shows, great variety of eating venues and despite the number of passengers, you still have elbow room. The Labadee Sandbar Island Tour was the highlight party boat! The crew was awesome ...

This boat is beautiful. There are so many things to do and place to wander! We had an ocean view balcony and the party travelling with us had a boardwalk balcony. Both staterooms were a decent size and offered a fun experience. If you have teens or plan to enjoy the sports deck, get acquainted with mini-bites. It's a great location for quick eating and not typically too crowded for breakfast. ...

I sailed NCL EPIC last year with my 12 yo son,and had fun,was told RCL is better, with the amazing new ship' Harmoney of the Seas'... so booked it,it was expensive, about 4000.00 usd for a week. For both ,not including any extras ,shore excursions ,sodas, etc. Upon enrering our cabin, after settling down,my son found next to the sofa a human hair rolled in a size of a tennis ball. That was quite a ...

Loved the large ship and plenty of choices. However, can't book dining times/dates if you select dining packages which makes your first day total stress and chaos trying to book shows (filled up) and dining times( all full). Stupid idea by Royal when they could eliminate that by allowing you to select dining dates/times prior so they match up to your show. Once again smokers allowed near the ...

Harmony of the seas was the best cruise I have every cruised and here are some reasons why: - After check in and boarding the ship make all reservations required for shows and dinner before people take your desired times. - A lot of things to do throughout the whole ship. - Loved the stowaway pianist, my girlfriend and I were very surprised and because we love music so much. We spent ...

This was my first ever cruise. I absolutely loved everything about the ship! The ship was beautiful and had a lot of entertainment and activities to join in. The service was phenomenal - the crew members were very friendly and welcoming. My family and I became good friends with a bunch of the crew and they definitely left us in a positive mood. Everything on the ship was a blast! There were tons ...
