Great Cruise

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Odyssey of the Seas

This was our first cruise in 4 years because of "you know what"! Embarkation was flawless even though ship came in from Europe and needed Coast Guard inspection. There are too many positives to go into detail for each. This was our 18th cruise so we have many reference points. The ship was very clean with no maintenance issues. This brings me to one thing I found lacking: character and a buzz ...

We chose this cruise because of the itinerary -- Coco Cay, Tortola & St. Croix. We had never been to those Virgin Islands and we love the Halloween cruises. The cruise director, the activities director and all of the activities staff kept this ship alive and full of fun. The Canadian Captain was very experienced and had a wonderful sense of humor. All the staff were friendly and upbeat. The ...

Very nice cruise .The evening dining was extremely well done . Our service providers were Victor and Prosper and they were Excellent .The food was well prepared and delicious. Having the choice of sit down breakfast and lunch or the buffet was awesome. Our cabin was larger then I anticipated .I really took advantage of having a balcony. I enjoyed sitting out there on the warm evenings and warm ...

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Odyssey of the Seas

I was a bit apprehensive doing a transatlantic cruise. This was our 20th cruise, we have sailed the most on Celebrity Solstice size ships, NCl a bunch of times, 2x on Princess, 2x Carnival, 2x Holland America, Disney, Costa and twice before on Royal Caribbean on Allure and Oasis. We have done two other Celebrity cruises within the last year for comparison purposes. We chose this ship because ...

We chose this cruise for spring break with my kids and their friends families. We knew it would be jam packed with kids for spring break and we were ok with that. Embarkation at Fort Lauderdale port, our check in time was 1:30pm, we got to the terminal at 12:30 ish and were literally on board with in 10 min tops. Probably didnt see my 16 and 18 year old from sail away party until the next ...

Another Pros and a few cons

My husband and 3 teen sons wanted to go on a cruise (I've cruised before). We went during winter break and had side-by-side rooms, ocean view balconies. No issues with embarking and disembarking. Very organized. Rooms were very clean for our germaphobe family; did see one stain on the carpet but not a big issue. Bathroom spotless and no urine smells. Clean sheets and towels. No dust, though we ...

Least favorite Royal Caribbean cruise ship we've sailed on!

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Harmony of the Seas

My husband and I who are in our early 60's booked this cruise ship as we prefer a 8-night cruise over a 7-night, along with the fact that we had never sailed on this RC ship before and it had a previous port favorite - St. Thomas and a new one - Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. We've sailed on other RC crusie ships such as Jewel of the Seas, Radiance of the Seas, Adventure of the Seas, Oasis, ...

As a group of friends we always try to book a January vacation and this did not disappoint, we were VERY lucky with the weather which added to the enjoyment. I had read reviews stating that Liberty was showing her ‘age’ which I found bizarre as she’s really not that old at all! Sure enough we saw nothing that indicated any lack of attention or repair - except the large screen poolside which ...

Oasis Class=Something for everyone

Oasis class ship are huge. The different "neighborhoods" do a great job of dispersing passengers and the ship although busy, never seems cramped. We enjoy the large ships (sailed Oasis class 3x) because of the variety of activities and venues. If you don't like a lot of walking you would probably prefer a smaller ship class. Embarkation has been perfected. We had a 11:00 arrival time and ...

If life on land was as loving and peaceful as Harmony of the Seas

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Harmony of the Seas

It was a gift. Harmony of the seas from registration to closing out represented it’s name well. Being on the Harmony for me was a prime example of how day to day life should be with the various cultures and diversity in one place in peace and Harmony. I always say that the attitude of the person at the top trickles down to the last drop and at the end of the day results will show. Harmony of the ...
