Overall our experience was wonderful on Royal Caribbean’s Freedom of the Seas:
San Juan: we flew in 2 days early to explore San Juan. We stayed at the Sheraton old San Juan and it was the perfect location. Walking distance to everything. Great food right of the street. Make sure to have the Mofango. Use uber instead of a taxi- it’s a 1/3 of the cost. The restaurant at the hotel was delicious ...
We went on the Freedom of the Seas 8 night Eastern Caribbean cruise. Was a thank you cruise from my son for my wife and I and our new in-laws. He got married last year and wanted to thank us for our support. I admit going into the cruise I had my doubts about a ship that had almost 4000 passengers. I was very impressed they could easily handle all these passengers. Only real lines we ended up ...
We are regular Royal Caribbean cruisers (16 cruises). Well let's say we were. Royal Caribbean has decided it wants to compete with the Disney ships. There were over 350 kids on the ship. Surprise! Also, they do not enforce their own rules on dress code in the dining room, Diamond member requirements to attend private functions, and more. They used to care, now they don’t.. People are wearing ...
I selected Royal Caribbean because I check out the reviews and heard about the great experience a friend of mine had on the Allure of the Seas. I decided to book a cruise with Royal Caribbean and I loved it! I've been on other cruise lines in the pass, but none compared to the overall experience I encountered with Royal Caribbean. The cabin was very nice. The dining experience was exceptionally ...
We just returned from Freedom's Eastern Caribbean cruise. This was our second journey on this ship and time has been kind to her. She was as beautiful as on our 2012 cruise. The cabin was clean, the food was great (always), and each night we enjoyed a different show....we loved the ventriloquist. While the hurricane damage was evident on St. Maarten, it was still our favorite port of call. ...
This cabin is a promenade cabin, designed for handicapped, however, the noise level should have been noted. The music was exceptionally loud on this cruise. I have been on Freedom a few times and never experienced such loud music. It was difficult to speak with guest services, during loudest times the bed in our room actually shook. This should be noted in the booking when selecting this room. ...
We are Crown & Anchor members and love Royal Caribbean...however, our cruise on Freedom of the Seas was by far our worst cruise! If I was a first timer on Royal Caribbean and took this ship I would book another cruise line.
Staff was NOT friendly at all. Everyone seemed to be off their A game. Rooms were old and worn, chairs in the lounges needed to be replaced. In the kids pool area most of ...
This is our first big cruise and it was a pleasant surprise for us to see the crew was so prepared and everything was so much planned to provide guests the best cruise experience. ALL of the staffs we met were very polite and friendly. Care was taken preparing the cruise compass so that it covers all the required information. Even being the first cruise, we did not have to meet guest services ...
The ship is very large and I had no sea sickness. The food is 5 star and the wait staff is wonderful. Our stateroom attendant was friendly, kept our room spotless.
I would definitely recommend Royal Caribbean.
The only thing I didn't like was the escalator going to customs, after we left the ship. Very hard to ride down with our suitcases as we did the self express.
Our captain, ...
We cruised with 7 other couples, including my mom and dad. We all had a great time...great food, plenty to do on board and nice destinations. Our waiters during dinner were the best. They knew our names from day 1, and provided quite the entertainment with magic tricks every night. We loved those 2 guys!
The destinations were wonderful. We love St. Martaan as it is one of our favorite ...
