Loved it!
"This was my first time going a cruise with my family. We went for my Mums 70th and I must say we were not disappointed. The check in was smooth, food was great with lots to choose from, from main dining to the..."Read More

Fun boat with great service and truly horrible food

Review for Freedom of the Seas to Bahamas

We had a fairly good vacation on The Freedom of the Seas. It was our first RC cruise and even though we love cruising, we're not sure if we'll book another with RC. I had originally booked another boat and bought tickets to Coco Cay at a very good price. The company swapped boats and cancelled my Coco Cay tickets. When I asked if I could get them for the same price again, they refused so I had to ...

Just a quick get-a-way

We were on this ship right before they did the renovations on the pool deck, so we wanted to come back and see what the changes were. Embarkation and Disembarkation were a breeze. This trip by far was the quickest we were ever able to get on a ship, without waiting in long lines. Everyone at the Miami port were very friendly and welcoming. The ship is beautiful. All the staff were ...

We chose a short 4 day cruise to ease ourselves back into cruising - with 2 stops at Coco Cay it was PERFECT!!! Everything from the check in process to dining options was thought out & planned to be safe & smooth. The Crew were amazing. Yes we needed to wear masks indoors but we felt it was not that big a deal. Coco Cay is fabulous!! We did the Coco Beach Club one day & loved it - but there are ...

Discriminatory Cruise Policy

Review for Freedom of the Seas to Bahamas

This a is complain about the discriminatory policy that the Cruise Lines Royal Caribbean is applying to the passengers right now. Even when they are requesting a negative Covid test before to get the ship, the no vaccinated persons have to do another test at their cost to confirm that they are negative. But that is not enough for them, once inside, they don’t let the no vaccinated people to ...

I went with someone who insisted that cruises were great. Wasnt impressed, wont cruise again. Because of the confusion of check in time. VS. Muster Station drill. We arrived 3 hours early. And sat and waited...for 3 hours. (?) No Sail Away party. And I was told those were great..? Nothing for dinner but Pizza.. (unless you paid extra). No entertainment. Maybe there was, but I never found it. Main ...

First cruise out in 18 months for us. Ok read the other negative reviews and I disagree with most. First off show up at the time YOU selected and you wont have any issue. We arrived at 1:30 our time took 5 minutes and we were on the ship. It was all the royal site to handle covid type cruises, SHOW UP AT THE TIME YOU SLECTED. If you want to be stupid or buck the system then wait outside till your ...

Prisoner at Sea

I just returned from a nightmare trip with Royal Caribbean. My child is unvaccinated and the discrimination was unreal. The Bahaman government was not a problem. They required a few reasonable steps and approved her to enter the country. Royal Caribbean, however, disregards the countries criterion and simply does not allow anyone unvaccinated to enter the port. Their description was misleading. ...

This was my 33 RCCL cruise, and my first time on Freedom of the Seas. This was a rebooked "casino" cruise from a cancelled 2020 cruise. The cruise from Terminal A at the Miami cruiseport. Getting onto the ship was a nightmare. Due to flight schedule, I wound up arriving at 10 am for a 1 pm "scheduled" check in time. There were MANY passenger who had to wait OUTSIDE in the Miami heat and humidity. ...

Crazy expensive really really bad quality

It should be noted that we made the trip to use the credit of a cruise that was not done in 2020 due to a pandemic, what was a 7-day cruise became a 4-day cruise and we still had to pay 1,200 more dollars, and only to get on the ship you start to continue paying more and more, they charge you for everything crazy, the service is excellent, but the food is bad, very bad, unless you decide to pay ...

A Perfect Family Vacation - 4 nights not enough!

We were originally booked on Freedom of the Seas from Cape Liberty to Bermuda, 22Jul21 and so disappointed when it was cancelled. Thankfully, we were able to snag cabins on this sailing to celebrate our 31st wedding anniversary. Joining us were daughter, her 2 sons (9 and 12), her significant other and his son (10) from California and our other daughter from Massachusetts. The fast turnaround ...
