I think we were just so happy to be back to cruising but, honestly, it was not the quality we expected for either the food or entertainment options. The food at the Main Dining Room was not great and our 2nd visit to Wonderland was also lackluster. Service was steller but not enough activities to keep us entertained. Drinks were different depending on the bar. Lines for My Time even with a ...
My husband and I just returned from a Caribbean cruise. While there were positive things about this ship and crew there are also a number of negatives. The entertainment was very good. The rooms are very nicely laid out with two separate closets. As far as the ship goes the lack of an adult-only pool is disappointing. I also feel that RC is not ready for full capacity sailing yet. In seven ...
The Harmony of the seas is a beautiful ship and the cruise was a lot of fun. But there are some real issues with the number of passengers which clearly affect the quality of service and activities. I do want to add the kids loved the cruise but they recognized the limitation with having 5000+ passengers on a cruise ship. This cruise was only 80% full and the staff and activities felt very ...
This was our 2nd time on Harmony.
Issues: It was clear that there were issues with staffing. We found long lines for Guest Services, Bingo and shops during “special sales”. Lines were long at embarkation. When docking in St. Maarten there was no one at the gangway to direct us to our Shore Excursion. At Cococay we had to wait 20 minutes for a trolley to the island. The public restrooms ...
Ship itself is rather stunning! Cabin was good, but smaller than we had on Carnival. A few stains on couch that apperead removable, but were not cleaned. Shower had a leak at the connection to the controls, and tv remote was broken. Replacement remote was broken as well. Food wa good, but not exceptional. Several dishes were somewhat overcooked. Ship sailed well, minimal ocean sway. ...
This cruise had the following itinerary: Depart Port Canaveral, two ocean days, one day in St Maarten, one day in St Thomas USVI, another ocean day, one day in Coco Cay, returning to Port Canaveral the following morning.
We have done several Royal Caribbean cruises in the past. The cruise was fun but not great, especially after two years cooped up due to COVID. This cruise was our second time ...
The staff's English was not that great. Passengers did Not have to wear masks crew did which is stupid as they all are about to get mandatory 4th booster.
Staff don't feel or act as a team. All very sperate departments. Example, getting a latte and the bakery share the same counter. You walk up to the counter where the employee is alone and ask for a latte she points to the other employee who ...
I am trying to get someone to address the lack of vegetarian food options. I had 3 night dinning package and 4 at coastal kitchen. Very limited options for vegetarian and special requests could not be accommodated even with advance notice . Had one special dish the chef at coastal prepared that was nice.
Buffet at lunch had salad. The server told me pasta was vegetarian, but it had pork. ...
My wife and I booked our cruise last September on Harmony of the Seas basically for three reasons: 1) We wanted to cruise on a newer and larger RC ship, 2) the itinerary to St. Johns was originally included, and 3) the price was right for a balcony. We hoped the Covid mess would be long gone by January, 2022. We even Royal-upped our room by placing a bid on an upgraded ocean balcony which we ...
* Embarkation was a bit confusing. Asked for our Covid cards 2X, despite the fact we had uploaded them, and they had been accepted.
Evening meal, my wife ordered a pork chop which came black and uncutable. She sent it back and was brought another one which was possibly even worse. You could not even put a steak knife into it. Both the chef and the waiter should have seen this. so they asked ...
