I recently had the unfortunate opportunity to sail on the Navigator of the Seas with Royal Caribbean, and I must say, it was a highly disappointing experience. From the moment I stepped on board, it became evident that this cruise was far from the luxurious and enjoyable experience I had anticipated.
One of the first aspects that left a sour taste in my mouth was the bar service. The staff ...
We are Diamond Club status and have been on this ship 9 times.
Shows have all been the same since the ship first sailed years ago.
The show attendance was never to capacity
The stateroom was never vacuumed in the 11 night cruise and we noticed the same dirt on the floor since we first got in the cabin.
You now pay extra for I Fly and North Star which use to be free which results in ...
This was the 9th cruise that I have taken with Royal Caribbean, and it was by far the worst. Customer service was poor since day 1. I am a Diamond member and I was not allowed to be in the “Diamond” lounge during happy hour; interesting doing this to customers that have spent tens of thousands of dollars with them. The worst part was the shore excursions booked through Royal Caribbean. All the ...
The food was terrible in all of the dining we did and the food is usually our favorite part, not this time. Everything was less than mediocre including the fine dining evenings. The ship was incredibly overcrowded. We had to FIGHT to find a table at the buffet and then fight to get a plate of food. It was also impossible to find seating on the upper decks, so we had to take our deck food down to ...
I just took a cruise on Royal Caribbean Navigator of the Seas to Catalina Island and Ensenada, Mexico and it was BY FAR the worst cruise I have ever been on. First and most disappointing, Catalina Island was basically closed. They said once on the island that it wasn’t season so there was basically nothing to do once you got there besides rent golf carts and ride the same route for an hour. There ...
Booked a smaller ship thinking that overcrowding wouldn’t be as big of a problem as in past cruises. Boy, was I wrong, and add to that a dated jalopy of a ship to spend a week on. Don’t waste your money on this pile of garbage unless you like the hum and flicker of CFL light bulbs that *might* work if you’re lucky. One of them in our stateroom was like a strobe light and two other lights just ...
We were with a large group of 39 on this cruise. It was our first time and we had high hopes.
Food poisoning, smokers polluting the hallways, deafening music on 4 of the main decks, cold pools and warm hot tubs.
Our first cruise. Jan 5-8 2024
Two out of ten stars is not enough for us to return.
1. We were excited about the hot tubs, they were warm, like the pools should have ...
A friend at work recommended a cruise, in a moment of madness we booked through luxury escapes for 10 nights leaving Sydney for New Caledonia and Vanuatu. The ship is tired and showing its age, tattoos looked compulsory, probably with their room number so when they are inebriated they can find their way back. There is nothing interesting to do unless you enjoy drinking, belly flop competitions or ...
Where do I even begin?! This was a NYE cruise and we wish we didn't go! The Oasis sailed out of Port of Miami on Dec 29 and returned on January 7th. Ports of call included Perfect Day at CoCo Cay, Curacao, Aruba, and Jamaica. Embarking on the ship was not an easy, quick experience at all. The port was insanely busy needless to say. Getting on the ship itself is long and tedious, and the workers at ...
The overall cruise was disappointing. I ordered room service almost everyday on the cruise ship and each time the food was cold. They give you leftover fries and wrap them in plastic after they warm it up. Room service took about an hour each time I ordered and food was still cold.. food selections are horrible.. no real restaurants besides the steak house. Beverage Drinks are made up for you ...
