Great ship and really enjoyable cruise

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Allure of the Seas

Why this cruise? Took place over mid-winter break for the kids from school, and we were able to take advantage of the Kids Sail Free promotion, making the cost of the cruise, and the 2 Bedroom Aqua Theater suite (Star class!), very doable. Check-in and boarding was insanely easy and quick. Arrived at the port about 10:30 and boarding had already begin. Looking around the terminal, there were ...

This was my first cruise. I absolutely loved it and cannot wait to go again. The amenities were amazing. And the service was unmatched. Every area of the ship was spotless. And everyone was helpful and friendly. The lovely woman who kept our room spotless and made a new animal shape out of towels each day was fabulous! Her name was Sue and I cannot say enough about her service! The shows on ...

Cruise: Voyager of the Seas 2/19/24 5-days from Galveston to Costa Maya and Cozumel. Who: My DH, DD, DD's best friend who we invited along to keep her company, DD's best friend's parents who decided to come too, and of course me. For my family this was our first cruise, for DD's best friend I think that was her third, for the other parents they cruise once or twice a year. ...

Freedom of the Seas – Excellent Weekend Getaway

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Freedom of the Seas

BACKGROUND INFORMATION We really enjoyed a fast-paced weekend getaway on the Freedom of the Seas. When the Freedom OTS first set sail in May 2006, she was the largest cruise ship in the world. In March 2020 just before the pandemic shutdown, Royal Caribbean spent $116M to amp the Freedom, updating her amenities and features to the latest in the fleet. The Freedom of the Seas has 1963 ...

Another great cruise on RCCL!

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Allure of the Seas

This was our second cruise on RCCL and the Allure, having sailed in December 2023 as well. We had another great cruise on Allure. First, however, I will say that there were WAY too many kids for our liking. It's a lesson to us to stay away from booking holiday weekends again. We still had a very nice time, but I know many adults were annoyed at the hot tubs and adult only area, not to ...

We were enchanted!

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Enchantment of the Seas

INTRODUCTION We were a mother (60s)/daughter (30s) traveling together. We’d originally booked this cruise when it was going to be on Brilliance of the Seas. We LOVE Radiance Class. However, after Royal did some shuffling of their fleet, we ended up on Enchantment of the Seas. After reading some recent reviews and watching recent passenger ship tours on YouTube, we prepared ourselves to be ...

Great Ship, Great Crew, Great Cruise

overall a great ship and great cruise. A lot of very nice people on board and we enjoyed meeting many of them. Food in the MDR and buffet was excellent. room was clean and service was fantastic. Santiago, our room attendant, couldn't have been better. Casino needs to eliminate smoking, but made plenty of announcements advising passengers that they could only smoke if they were actively ...

We really liked the upgrades to the Harmony

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Harmony of the Seas

We sailed previously on the Allure out of Galveston in February 2023, and we wanted to experience the Harmony, since it had been upgraded, and the Allure had not been. We had checked in early and had an 11 AM boarding time so we headed there early in the day especially because Royal had sent multiple reminders of the Mardi Gras parades impact to traffic. However, traffic was light and we ended ...

Plenty of Space for Everyone to do their Own Thing

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Independence of the Seas

We booked this sort of last minute on a Black Friday special and got a great deal. For a ship & itinerary selected primarily on departure date, we were both surprised and pleased how nice the experience was. This ship is large enough to have a variety of activities and amenities, but not so huge to be able to get around. It is a bit older, and shows in some spots but most areas look nice. Very ...

It is the best cruise I have ever been on, the food is delicious, the room is super spacious, the service is spectacular, the private island is a dream, in short they are the best. The customer service is super exceptional, in the restaurant the food is super fresh and fabulous, at the buffet the food always has a lot of variety in both fruits and everything else. The activities are super ...
