Our goal was to get our whole family together and give our grandchildren (age 5-11) their first cruise. The ship, the friendly staff, the outstanding waiters all worked well. The kids were happy swimming; we did not use the kids programs at all. They enjoyed the two shows we saw and everyone had a good time. Cabins were very clean as was the ship in general. The significant downside to the cruise ...
I get it , RCL is cutting corners to increase revenue. But, it is becoming so obvious to everyone because of poor food quality and lackluster service.
Boarding the ship is nothing special. There is a separate entrance for suite guests that simply dumps you in line with everyone else.
I booked loft suite. It was very clean but furniture is showing its age. Loft bathroom has hot water the ...
We had so much fun on Explorer Feb. 4th -9th sailing. What I enjoyed was the diversity of people on board. I love seeing little ones enjoying.
The entertainer we booked to see playing in Schooner's, Perry Grant, could not be there last minute and I was so disappointed. David, who filled in, was a laugh and a half. And we were all surprised when fellow passenger asked to sing along and stole ...
Ship was well kept for an older ship. Our balcony stateroom was clean and nice. The cabin attendant ( Virasami ) was the best we ever had. Hard working (even when not around our cabin ) attending to our every need, and anticipating our needs.
Food in the main dining room was ok. Our waiter Saka was accommodating to our needs and wants. Our head waiter Hans, was a character. Nice but over ...
The spa was the best part of this historic boat. Go to the spa and ask for Ivy to give you a massage. Very Good service in the spa. I would recommend buying a spa package as soon as you get on board.
The staff were very friendly aas well all over the boat. And the rooms were clean. The entertainment was not good. The singers were out of tune. They did have a good tango entertainment night. ...
This ship has potential but needs more cosmetic upkeep and money put into the productions held on the ship. Shows costumes and choreography for example, were very notably outdated to the point it felt distracting from the amazing talent of the performers.
Internet connection was very spotty and poor throughout the cruise especially when on the bottom decks. Definitely not worth what you are ...
I sailed Oasis of the Seas for 7 nights last week. The ship left from Miami on 1-21 and returned on 1-28. Overall the cruise was fine but I couldn't help but leaving disappointed. I sailed Oasis years ago when it was new and the largest ship in the world. A couple of years later I sailed on the sister ship, Allure of the Seas. Both ships were outstanding back then. It's hard to believe that ...
INTRODUCTION: I am 76 years old and my wife is 73. She is still able to use fitness machines and walk considerable distances while I am limited in physical activities and always walk with a cane. That being said, our main enjoyment on a cruise comes from the availability of fine dining, musical and other “passive” entertainment and use of the pool facilities.
We also enjoy touring places that ...
Like smaller ships, less people, less fighting for seats, bartenders, etc. But you could tell the ship is getting old. Still worth a sail if you like the itinerary but would like to see newer, smaller ships come online because I wont sail on the 7000 passenger, costs an arm and a leg behemoths they are putting in service. Less amenities for sure but I do not sail to be running around all day. ...
Liberty of the Seas is an elderly ship, clean, constantly being scrubbed & maintained.
We stayed in junior suite cabin. It’s big, window plus large balcony, walk-in closet, small bathroom but it’s well-lit, plastic shower curtain which will try to stick to you.
There were passengers from Canada, Europe & South America. This is a family oriented ship but I thought surely all children ...
