Beautiful ship for a cruise up north

Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on Adventure of the Seas

We had a lot of fun on Adventure of the Seas. This ship had a little bit of everything and if you got bored, it was your own damn fault (I heard one couple complain at dinner that there wasn't a great selection of pay per view movies!! Who has time to watch movies on a cruise?). We enjoyed all of the late night shows; the Quest was a lot of fun, the comedians were funny, and the ice show was ...

Had a great time and was taken care of like we were royalty! Excellent staff and plenty to see on ship as well as ports of call. Enjoyed the many shows on board. The shore excursions were very good and the tour guides very informative and had plenty of personal experiences related to the tours. The food in all the dinning rooms was delicious. The evening dinner was made special by our wait ...

My family ALWAYS cruises with Royal Caribbean and I am so glad we finally got the chance to all take a trip together (6 adult siblings and our parents)! The Enchantment of the Seas is absolutely gorgeous and filled with so many things on the itinerary to experience! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, even when the number of questions I had, had to be annoying. The food is great, ...

To preface my review so you will understand my experience: I took the cruise with my younger sister and my parents. I am 14 years old, and I've only been on one cruise before this one - on the Carnival Miracle, which went to Mexico. Thanks for reading my review and I hope you take my thoughts into account when choosing your next cruise! :) The embarkation process went quite well and it was not ...

Cruised with family (total of 14 people). Three separate families. Total of 7 adults (including one senior), 4 teens and 3 kids under 10. Embark and disembark - smooth. Windjammer (breakfast/lunch)- the breakfast and lunch food are the same each day. Change it up!. They need to introduce some specialty items. Windjammer (dinner) - there is a theme dinner each night. The Caribbean ...

An average experience

Please note that my 3/5 review is taken as the literal meaning of "average" and not "awful" as some people take anything less than 5/5. Everything on the Adventure is what I would expect from a cruise with a couple exceptions. The biggest is the food, specifically the Main Dining Room. The service was good as expected, but the quality of the food was very poor. We gave it three tries before ...

Overall a good cruise experience on an almost-new ship

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Mariner of the Seas

We sailed as a group of friends to celebrate a 60th birthday, and RCCL's new short weekend cruises to the Bahamas seemed ideal. I believe we had the second sailing after the Mariner was renovated for ca $100Million. We had a good cruise experience, as the ship offers a lot of activities for these short itineraries, including a surf-simulator, virtual reality trampolines, waterslides, mini-golf, ...

Cabin- Workable, several non-functioning items. Cabin Steward was great. Dining services- We were a group of 10 which had arranged to eat together, and had confirming e-mails. When we got there we were split up. We waited at dining services on the 5 floor which sent us to guest services, which sent us to dining services on the 4th floor, which sent us to dining services on the 3rd ...

Overall good cruise. A little overpriced. The ports of call were just average. Bar Harbor and Halifax were the best. We had to travel quite far to get to any excursions at all the ports and there was nothing to do at the port in New Brunswick so I highly suggest doing an excursion that day. Cabin and crew were absolutely awesome! Especially our dinner staff Ronaldo and Merlon. Cruise director ...

I throughly enjoyed our cruise and would recommend this ship and a Canadian/New England cruise. Foremost, the crew was amazing, especially our main dining room staff and state room attendants. I appreciate the hard work, attentiveness and kindness. They provided the personal touches that made the experience special. The food was excellent (especially in the main dining room, most hit or miss in ...
