We were coming back from a 2 week stay in Nepal, and the timing of the cruise out of Singapore was perfect. In addition, my wife and I always wanted to do a Asian cruise. this was our 9th Royal Caribbean cruise, and 3rd cruise on Mariner of the Seas.
We thoroughly enjoyed the cruise, and the fact that it was a majority Chinese clientele made the cruise even more enjoyable, although the ...
Choose this cruise to celebrate 30th wedding anniversary with friends because it had a lot of Italy ports. Lots to see. It was a great introduction to sailing the Mediterrean for the first time. The Brilliance is a smaller ship that was easy to get around. Cabin size good. Food in main dining room not great, and lacked consistency in presentation. Shows typical cruise line fare. Best thing Royal ...
Huge, Beautiful ship with all the positives and negatives that brings. Queueing every Breakfast/lunch to get into the windjammer which is way too small as are several of the entertainment venues, seating 100 ish people on a ship that holds 4500 !!!! As ever everything on board is ridiculously expensive, The shows are ok (How is cats the 3rd longest running musical on broadway !!!!!! Awful songs !) ...
We chose this cruise for the excellent ports that it visited...Barcelona, Naples, Civitavecchia, Marseilles, Nice, and LeSpezia. The rooms were nice although we were expecting a pull-out couch for our adult daughter rather than the very uncomfortable trundle pull down bed with a thin and hard mattress. Overall, the food in the dining room was very good. One night, the prime rib and fish were awful ...
Great Experience overall but the billing dept very shady My wife returned 4 items she bought from the gift shops and we still got charged for the items the internet was horrible bought it and never used it and still got charged very crooked when i was the on ship they refunded me the money everything was alright until i got off the ship my final bill had the charges still there when i called ...
We chose the ship more so based on its original itinerary, however the bonus was experiencing a massive cruise ship. It truly is a testament to RCL to pull off a cruise with this sized ship so seamlessly. Some minor service items which in the grand scheme of things can just as easily occur on smaller ships, and it boils down to some individuals vs. an endemic situation.
Ship and cabin were ...
We liked many things about Liberty of the Seas with Royal Caribbean. The top qualities being friendliness of staff, quality for cost, ADULT ONLY SOLARIUM including pool and hot tubs; not being required to purchase drink package for everyone in the room.
The Promenade on the ship is very nice and has the appearance of an Italian street area with shops and bistros. The 70's party in the ...
This was my second cruise on the Liberty of the Seas. The ship is very impressive and has loads of amenities that I am sure you will enjoy and use. The promenade is very spacious and there are some great shopping there. They also have pizza, sandwiches and cakes and cookies all for the asking on Deck 5.
The entertainment was real good on this cruise. The theater is only two decks high so ...
I was overall happy with cruise for the most part. I would rate the cruise as follows, 60% as fun, entertaining, and enjoyable. 40% not so much, a lot of waiting in lines on numerous occasions. Maybe this is normal, but as a veteran, the Army might be more efficient in this area and vets know what I mean, a lot of hurry up and wait. Dinning room meals were disappointing, buffet eating was better ...
This was my sister's and mine 1st cruise together on RC. She has taken several and I this was my 2nd. The ship was gorgeous. The main dining hall sparkled with many lights and chandeliers like out of Beauty and the Beast. Service exemplary! Our room steward was the icing on the cake. Elizabeth always wore a smile on her face, a song followed her. She always had our room super clean and her ...
