NOT UP TO RCCL STANDARDS

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Mariner of the Seas

We've been on many RCCL cruises and have always had a great time. This cruise was not up to RCCL standards. The ship, cabin, and cabin steward were great. The problem came with the entertaiment, cruise director and staff, and last but certainly not least, the food. Let me say, the Ice Show was EXCELLENT. The absolute highlight of all the entertainment We always look forward to the nightly ...

Really, a trip of a lifetime

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Brilliance of the Seas

My wife and I have floated with Royal before. This great deal caught our eye, mainly because of that. But when we realized we could piece this trip together comfortably, we and 2 other friends went for it and were we glad we did! Here's our thoughts and comments on the basic biggies most want to know about.1) Service: We had no problems whatsoever with any workers in any areas of the ship. No, we ...

Jewel has been tarnished!

An offer came in our email and the price was hard to beat, so we called RCI to book the March 7th cruise on Jewel of the seas. We decided to upgrade to a superior balcony, cabin 9254 and specifically asked if it was obstructed in any way and was told it was NOT... well they LIED!!!!! it is obstructed on not 1 or 2 but all 4 sides ( including up and down) so our views of the ocean were extremely ...

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Oasis of the Seas

Don't get me wrong OOTS is a beautiful ship. There's tons of things to get involved with. However, when I cruise I'm not looking to dine in chain restaurants that's something I can do on any giving night in NYC. What happened to buffets and the cruise provided restaurants? Now it's become Maddison Avenue on a boat. Again, I don't need a cruise to go restraraunt hopping. I know things evolve and we ...

Rather disappointed

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Liberty of the Seas

We recently took a short cruise just as a quick spring getaway. We chose the Liberty of the Sea because we like the Freedom class ships and we did not want to be gone very long. We thought it was a good combination. We always fly in the night before so as to not have a stressful embarkation. When we arrived at the pier, there was a crowd but we went straight to the Diamond line and were helped ...

Mostly Disappointed in Adventure of the Seas

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Adventure of the Seas

On March 3, 2013, we sailed on Royal Caribbean's Adventure of the Seas to St. Thomas, St. Kitts, Aruba, and Curacao. I have been on one other cruise, which was on Carnival's Sensation. The Carnival cruise was 10,000 times better than Royal Caribbean. First, we were very disappointed in the food. On the Carnival cruise ship, people admired other people's plates because the food looked so good, and ...

An experience we would not forget (in a bad way)

Review for a Asia Cruise on Voyager of the Seas

My husband and I, together with our 14 month old, boarded the Voyager on 31 March 2013 from China on a 4 days cruise to Jeju Island and Busan. I can say with certainty that this experience, we are definitely never going to sail on a cruise from China again - even if it was offered to us for free. The following were issues we encountered: 1) The clients are mainly Chinese, with only a handful of ...
