Wanted to try a big ship, never again. Overcrowed with spring break teens and 1200 kids under 1200 sailing free- did not know that would happen. Windjammer llounge overcrowded a nd people were ureged to eat and leave because of long lines. Just a mob of people and decks overcrowed with lotys of playing kids and not enough chairs. The ship is large and has all the amenities and plenty of activities to entertain oneself. The excursions that we took were wonderful as well. However, though my wife bought a drink package, I did not and even though they religiously levied the daily gratuity for both, I was extremely annoyed to find that they levied a "service charge" of 18% on drinks that I purchased. Took a 7 night cruise to the caribbean. Ports of call included Labadee - Haiti, Falmouth - Jamaica, and Cozumel - Mexico. Upon arrival we were allowed onto the ship around 11:30AM which was nice, but could not get into our state rooms until after 1PM. We joined a quilt shop cruise that uses Royal Caribbean because of the large conference space. Our Jr Suite (8636) was really nice for 3 but I was surprised how much we did feel the sway. One nice thing about the Jr Suite is it gets you expedited boarding regardless of your Crown & Anchor level

We chose Rhapsody because we have sailed on Royals other ships. To our surprise this ships entertainment and food could not match their other ships.The food certainly was not first class and had no imagination. Captains night had Prime rib OR a lobster tail. Art auctions were long and frustrating, they took up too much time. ship was rocking and rolling the entire cruise. Most of the staff were very helpful.
