Wanted to try a big ship, never again. Overcrowed with spring break teens and 1200 kids under 1200 sailing free- did not know that would happen. Windjammer llounge overcrowded a nd people were ureged to eat and leave because of long lines. Just a mob of people and decks overcrowed with lotys of playing kids and not enough chairs. Also the diamond passenger lounge was dismal and uninviting. Pretty ...
The ship is large and has all the amenities and plenty of activities to entertain oneself. The excursions that we took were wonderful as well. However, though my wife bought a drink package, I did not and even though they religiously levied the daily gratuity for both, I was extremely annoyed to find that they levied a "service charge" of 18% on drinks that I purchased. The drink of the day was ...
Took a 7 night cruise to the caribbean. Ports of call included Labadee - Haiti, Falmouth - Jamaica, and Cozumel - Mexico. Upon arrival we were allowed onto the ship around 11:30AM which was nice, but could not get into our state rooms until after 1PM. It is tied for the 2nd largest cruise ship in the world and has a central park area which is very nice. Labadee is a "private" island on the shore ...
Sometimes it is easier to point out the negative and not spell out the good things. So here goes:
Cabin---Excellent-Rocky was an amazing person, and ours was wonderfully clean.
Ship-All activities were well done and produced, Las Vegas Tenors-OUTSTANDING!!!
(except the night the Piano Bar person was pulled as the main act...He is a great
pianist, but was unable to ...
We joined a quilt shop cruise that uses Royal Caribbean because of the large conference space. Our Jr Suite (8636) was really nice for 3 but I was surprised how much we did feel the sway. One nice thing about the Jr Suite is it gets you expedited boarding regardless of your Crown & Anchor level
Conference facilities are great and Santino (our F&B guy) took great care of keeping the water and ...
Embarkation - Fastest that we’ve ever gotten on a ship once we were at the port.
We stayed one night pre-cruise at the Renaissance Ft. Lauderdale Cruise Port Hotel. The location was great and there was a Walgreens right across the street, which was great to stock up on our two bottles of wine, coke, and bottle of hand soap for our bathroom. (We’re carryon suitcase only people, so it was nice ...
We chose Rhapsody because we have sailed on Royals other ships. To our surprise this ships entertainment and food could not match their other ships. The food certainly was not first class and had no imagination. Captains night had Prime rib OR a lobster tail. If you anted both you had to request it. There were other items on the menu that you had to pay for. (first time I saw that)
The ...
We picked this cruise because we were HOPEFUL that it was better than the last time we were on this ship. Nope...same old, same old. Food and menus were still the same...lousy.
The stabilizers still don't seem to work correctly, as the ship still rocked and rolled on smooth seas.
Embarkation and Disembarkation went smooth as always, but we always do the early morning express walk-off ...
Our family sailed on Harmony for spring break in 2 cabins. Our children are 16 and 7. We have gone on several cruises and also sailed with Norwegian and Carnival, although Royal Caribbean has been our line of choice in the past. The ship is amazing. It is modern and kept very clean. The fitness center is huge and the jogging track is nice (almost .5 mile). There are countless options of ...
Art auctions were long and frustrating, they took up too much time. ship was rocking and rolling the entire cruise. Most of the staff were very helpful. Next cruise person we talked to was very snotty and not very helpful. The Acadia theater had too many pillars in the way and blocked the stag on the upper levels. The first and last night on the cruise did not offer any entertainment. I saw too ...
