All excelent !!! The state of the boat is very good. The cabins are very cozy and the room service is excellent. Clean the cabin twice a day. The dining room is very good and the food excellent. In restaurants, you feel like a king. The whole crew is very friendly and helpful. The shows are of remarkable production. The room service is excellent. The casino is spectacular. The pool is very good but somewhat small. The internet service is good but a bit expensive. The price of the excursions also considered that they could be something more economical, but they are worth it. The girls had a lot of fun and all the facilities are very safe. The a la carte food in the restaurants brings a first class menu and they change every day. The bars have very good music and they play live bands. They also provide a SPA service that regrettably does not use. Congratulations. Read Less

This was my first cruise. For years I put it off because I thought that I would hate being on a ship for so long....I thought that I would be bored. Well was I ever wrong! My experience started off with me checking in. I can't believe how easy that was. I dropped off my bags, went through security, checked in with the front desk and walked on the ship. This took no longer than 20 - 30 minutes. I got on the ship and went right to my room where my bags were waiting for me. I was quickly introduced to my Stateroom attendant who gave me her business card and told me that I can contact her at any time if I needed anything. The TV in my room kept me up to date and let me know about all the upcoming activities. Please check your messages when you get into your room. I downloaded the iQ app and that allowed me to keep in touch with my friends as well as see all the activities I signed up for. I recommend that everyone download the app. One word of advice...If you have an iPhone the app works great. My friends and my wife that had android devices periodically had to reconnect to the app. To do so all you need to do is open the Internet browser, hit refresh, and then the app would reconnect. There is a $7.95 fee if you want to call or message other guests thru the app. It came in handy. No fee if you are only going to use it to track your activities. If you sign up for the Internet package I would suggest you take a picture of your Internet code and keep it on your phone. You will need it if you drop off the Wi-Fi signal. Over the 7-day period I had to input the code once (I have an iPhone). We had dinner at SILK a few times. If you don't have a reservation then I will suggest you make one. Sometimes the line-ups can be long and to avoid the wait, the reservation will help. On-board activities were good. I suggest zip lining and the abyss. If you are riding the Abyss pleassssseee remember to keep your legs straight. You'll understand why if you don't listen to this advice. Getting on and off the ship was great. It was fast and very easy. My advice is for you to always make time to eat breakfast before leaving the ship. I did not do any of the excursions but i did leave the ship at each port. Note: When to get to Cozumel, Mexico we went go to the market first - which cost a total of $8 USD (4 people - $2 each). After the Market we took a cab to the public beach which cost us $25 USD (total) and it is approximately a 20-minute cab ride. There is a restaurant there but please note that it is a small beach area that is really nice. It does get busy and seats were hard to come by. We bought food at the bar and they offered for us to keep our stuff in the bar while we went into the water. We did not bother. If you buy the dining package please ask each restaurant what you get. The package is worth it if you use it right. For $90 USD you get to go to 3 premium restaurants. My favourite was the Steak house. Make sure you go. Going back to the dining package.... at one restaurant I was told that I have $35 to spend and if I went over that I would have to pay the difference. At the Steak house I was told that I had $55 to spend. PLEASE TELL YOUR SERVER THAT YOU HAVE A DINING PACKAGE AND YOU WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT IS INCLUDED. Every restaurant is different. If you have a chance to go to the Silent party please do. It was fun. That’s it. Hopefully this review helps P.s. I booked my next cruise using the ships next cruise service. They were great. The service is the thing that makes this ship stand out. It almost seems as if the crew members compete with each other to make you feel special. The Grandeur is an older ship without the new entertainment available, the staff makes up for the difference in their friendliness and enthusiasm. If you are looking for high adventure thrill seeking activities, this isn't the ship for you. If you are looking for old fashioned customer service where the staff learns your name and what you like, climb aboard ! Dining Room was excellent in both food and service. We travelled with young teenagers and there were plenty of activities for all of us to do. My children are easily pleased. The shows were fun every night. My favorite port was Nassau by far. We went to Blue Lagoon Island and had just the perfect day ! Our room was an inside stateroom and it is small but adequate. We were near a staff hallway and storage room and there was a persistent metallic banging at night. We called and the staff was quick to respond and try to remedy it but I think it was coming from the staff hallway doors and metal stairway. There isn't much they can do to eliminate the noise of staff returning to their own rooms. We learned to live with it but I was happy with their response time and efforts to address our complaint. I would do this cruise again ! Read Less

The Oasis of the seas is a beautiful ship! But it was ruined by everything they charged EXTRA for. They are CHEAP, CHEAP, AND CHEAP!! -Such as $7.95 room service fee. They don’t provide a lanyard for the card, HOWEVER, they sell them for $12.95 EVERYWHERE on the boat. -If you want a lovely meal (free on other cruise lines), then you pay $$$. The regular dining meals are UNDERWHELMING, and smallish and you have to line up and wait for a table. -Central Park: we’ll-named because every store and restaurant there, was expensive. It was pretty but disappointing. -There were only 2 adult-only pools and one is really a large fountain- you can’t swim in it. The other adult pool was under construction the entire week. -Good luck getting into the shows. We tried to book 6 weeks b4 the cruise and all but 2 were already full. We saw 2 and they were great. Unfortunately we never got to see the water shows. Each time we lined up almost an hour early (so we could get a seat), but the show was cancelled due to weather. Overall a huge disappointment. We saved a long time for this and feel that we’ve lost a lot of our hard-earned wages. Wish we had gone on Carnival. Tips! Book very early for the shows as well as if you want the early dinnertime. Save a chair at the pool at 6 am or you won’t get one all day. Read Less

We were asked to join other family members, who have traveled with RCI and are loyal guests of the line. We were not sure if cruising was for us, but we were very pleasantly surprised! The ship is very well equipped and cared for, and the staff are second to none. We had often heard about cruise line food, and thought it was just because of the quantity. However, we were blown-away by the QUALITY! Some of the best meals I have ever eaten, and though we do not eat out a lot, we usually stick to high-end restaurants. The food on Oasis is the best of the best! The debarkation on the final morning went smoothly, and we were impressed that an RCI representative stepped onto the bus to thank everyone for travelling with RCI. We would definitely recommend this cruise to anyone interested in a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. Read Less

We spent a week aboard with 16 of us. We had interior rooms and the ship was so big, it really just felt like a convention center. The promenade was really just high end expensive shops and reminded me of a mall. Malls are dead! I felt it hard to feel "connected" with the fact we were on a ship. Overall, the smaller ships (and yes, I mean Freedom;Liberty class even) are more for us. I was very dissapointed with the pack and play cribs we had for our twins. We just rolled with it but they were dirty and stained, and didnt have the appropriate safety features they should require. As our kids are "about done" with them we monitored them for further issues and continued not letting it mess up our experience. We enjoyed the mytime dining, however I noticed a significant deline in the quality and "feeling" of fanciness at dinner. Menus stained, tattered, and being butt to butt with other tables it was like a maze to get to our tables. Overall, yes, we loved the cruise but there were several parts we were dissapointed with but thats probably because the situation we were in with our kids. Your mileage may vary! Read Less

Embarkation & Disembarkation went smoothly & quickly. There was not a ton of places to view the ocean - which I enjoyed a lot in previous cruises. The main dining was fair. A lot of the same foods over and over again. We opted for a dining package and enjoyed both the Hibachi Restaurant as well as Chopped. The entertainment kept getting canceled because of the sea conditions. At one point, we were already seated for a show and they came on to let us know the show was just canceled. There was not a ton of organized activities that we really enjoyed on the other ships - for instance karoke was offered one time a day on most days for about an hour. In the fitness center, there were several machines that were in need of repair/replacement. There were two Stability Balls which were most of the times occupied or no where to be found. Also, you can take classes for a cost as well. The service and staff were awesome! The ports of call were about what we expected. For us, Oasis is not a ship we will sail on again. We prefer Freedom or Navigator of the Seas. Read Less

Royal Caribbean's main dining hall food isn't as good as Carnival, especially not their desserts. However, they did make one dessert I liked this year. It was Warm Dark Chocolate Cookie with Ice Cream and it was very similar to the unbeatable Carnival Warm Chocolate Melting Cake. Although they still don't have as many onboard staff-directed family fun activities like Charades, Pictionary, Bean Bag Toss, etc., they did have at least one free fun dance and/or fitness dance class daily, often two. I hurt my bad shoulder on their zip line last year so I avoided that and the rock climbing wall, but I loved the excursion to Labadee where we rented a kayak and where there were PLENTY of complimentary lounge chairs in the SHADE and complimentary lunch on this privately owned-by-Royal-Caribbean island of Labadee. The ice skating show was very entertaining even for a second year in a row. The aqua diving show was good and my nephew and sisters said the daytime Comedy diving show was even better! Overall, I still like Carnival just because of the bean bag toss, charades, pictionary, and Warm Chocolate Melting Cake, plus lower price. Read Less

We chose this cruise specifically for the ship itself. The ship is beautiful, the staff was great except for one particular individual, MDR food was excellent, and the entertainment was awesome. The one crew member we observed that wasn't very friendly was some guy scanning seapasses at the Aqua Show. He was very rude and obnoxious ... barking orders very loudly to stay in line "single file" and actually said "If you don't have your seapass out I will pull you out of line until you're ready and then put you in the back of the line." I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Anyway, the rest of the staff was fabulous. (It's a shame this one crew member stuck out the way he did.) Embarkation was very easy and well organized. They boarded by C&A status (Suite Guests boarded with Pinnacles). We were on the ship at 11:00am and we are lowly Emerald. Debarkation was the easiest I've ever seen. We had Mobile Passport and was able to bypass the very long lines at customs. We also used Luggage Valet and it worked perfectly. With 6500 guests and 2500 crew members on-board, it never really felt crowded. The only times we knew there were tons of people on the ship was immediately after the shows. After our first show we just stayed in our seats until the crowd thinned out (usually 10-15 minutes after the show). Tip: If you want to go to the promenade parade on the last night, get there 45 minutes early ... it was packed and I mean very packed! In my opinion, the ship is just too big. The Freedom and Voyager classes are just right for us and I think we'll stick with those. Recommend booking as many things prior to the cruise as possible ... especially the entertainment. It was SRO for every show we went to. Again, every show was awesome! RCI did not spare any expense in this area. Read Less

This was our very first cruise for myself and my family and it by far exceeded every expectation. The ship is beautiful and kept very clean. The staff works very hard to make sure you are always completely satisfied. Everything is always done in an orderly fashion and never once felt chaotic in any way. From boarding the ship, to leaving the gangway during our ashore days, it always ran very smoothly considering how many people are onboard. The food was amazing!! Lots of good choices in the Windjammer. MDR was fast and efficient as well. Our server Leighton was a gem. He always greeted us with a smile and made sure we were completely satisfied with our food choices. The kids club was fantastic. My son went every evening after dinner for a few hours and couldn't wait to go back the next day. I cant say enough great things about our first cruise. My kids are already asking when we are going back!! Thank you Royal Carribean....see you soon!!! Read Less
