Firstly, I have cruised over 200 nights and if you are a new cruiser reading this my suggestion would be to forget all the smoke and mirrors and work out whatever cabin you choose, the net cost per night. I will explain at the end. We had a wonderful cruise, RCCL always have lots of outdoor activities such as wave rider, mini golf, rock climbing , Basketball etc etc and they maintain there ...

This was our 1st cruise with Royal Caribbean having previously traveled with most of the other major cruise lines. In general we were somewhat disappointed with the cruise and particularly the on board service and the lack of entertainment options during the day. Also as a person who has enjoyed craft activities on other cruises it was disappointing that participating in this activity incurred a ...

(1) Impossible to communicate with the home office in Miami. Very poor customer service. (2) Check in at the port in Barcelona took forever. RCL's employee was letting all Platinum and above members through, while keeping the line for the Gold members at a standstill. It was faster going through the line for people who were not Crown and Anchor members at all. (3) The balcony was covered ...

I joined this cruise in Barcelona and spent the night before embarkation at the Barcelona Airport Hotel. Excellent value for money with breakfast, transfers from the airport and to the port included. Nice room and good restaurant. Now for the cruise, my first ever with Royal Caribbean and possibly my last. Explorer of the Seas is a lovely ship, but unless you are into outdoor activities, ...

We have cruised a lot and this one we cruised for 32 days from Southampton to Singapore, however it was broken down to three separate cruises from Southampton to Barcelona, Barcelona to Dubai and Dubai to Singapore We paid way in advance and it turns out we paid way too much as the rates were slashed as the cruises got closer --we appealed for a better rate without success, you would think ...

Explorer of the Seas Review We went on the repositioning trip consisting of four cruises from Southampton to Fremantle. This was a 42 day cruise from October 2, 2015 to November 13, 2015. Explorer has a lot going for it. The ship looks great, the décor and finish is good quality. Our stateroom 2292, although at the lowest level, was of a good standard with ample room and the bed was good. ...
