Embarkation at Southampton was excellent, very fast and efficient and we were onboard by 10.45am. Cold, wet and windy weather meant a rocky journey to Gibraltar and the Royal Parade was extremely busy as everyone was indoors for 2 days. (The 2 days back at the end though were sunny and warm so we were able to stay around the pool.) Our cabin , a grand suite, was lovely, and we enjoyed breakfast on the balcony several times. Our stateroom attendant was great, very friendly, efficient and attentive, knowing all our names from day 1. The windjammer buffet restaurant was great for breakfast and lunches generally, something for everyone, but didn’t cater brilliantly for egg, dairy and nut allergies as nothing was labelled and I had to ask the chefs’ advice everyday. The main dining room menus were very good, service was good, although Giovanni ‘s I have to say was better and more like the standard we enjoyed in the main dining room on previous cruises. It was a bit disappointing to be placed in 5 different areas of the dining room over ther 2 weeks as it was difficult to build a rapport with the waiters but our Headwaiter on day 1 checked up on us every single day which was much appreciated. Shows in the theatre were very good and a broad range of artistes were presented to us. The ports that we encountered were lovely, and the shore excursions that we did really enhanced the experience, apart from Montserrat , a 5 hour round trip with only 45 minutes there. Seville and Lisbon were particular favourites with us. Disembarkation with the concierge was excellent, swiftly off at 8.15 and taken straight to our cases. Our main issue with the ship were the hoards of teenage who gathered every night in each of the stairwells from decks 6 to 10, with pretty poor behaviour and bad language, unsupervised and unchallenged by staff or parents, and running along deck 11 above our stateroom until the early hours. This would prevent me from sailing on Navigator in the future. The other issue that spoiled our evenings was the lack of seating in the smaller bars around the ship where there was live music. We only managed to get a seat on 1 night out of 14. Despite all that, we did have a really good holiday and I would sail with Royal Caribbean again, but probably on a smaller ship. Read Less

Staff were perfect and worked very hard Food was excellent and too plentiful- not many of us can have large breakfast, lunch and 3 course dinners every night. Your not made to eat but its so good its hard not too. I liked having cooked omelet with what ever i wanted in it each morning. Wine was included but was often a little too sweat for my liking. After so feed back on that topic I got dry wine I liked :) Activities were professional and too plentiful. We often had up to 4 options in one day and could only do 2/3 of them so what to miss out on was hard to decide as we hand not been on any before. Guides were usually locals who spoke English well and they used radio transmitters to communicate with the groups (normally 10 to 20 people). To fit in with the boat schedule the time of departure varied from 8am to 10am in the mornings and usually cam back for lunch but again times varied as the activities too different times. There was 2 paces of walking slow ( called normal)and very slow called slow)- often there were 3 groups and people would have liked a faster group which could have been organized but didn't happen. On reflection now back in Melbourne I think I would have enjoyed missing a few activites and staying on the boat more - the boat was very comfortable and the views from the boat were often just as good as going ashore but more comfortable and relaxing. On Board activities were very varied one was awful, 3 were OUTSTANDING and most were good. My favorite was the Glass blower. Everything went perfectly on the trip so I recommend the trip to anyone   Read Less
