Odyssey of the Seas is stunning!

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Odyssey of the Seas

A little about us: we just retired at the ages of 59 and 63 and this was our 25th cruise (I think). We primarily sail with Royal and Norwegian. We are Emerald status with Royal. We booked this cruise 48 hours before sailing! We were told we booked the last available cabin on the ship which was an inside cabin. We always book a balcony but decided to go with it since we were getting a ...

I travelled with my two kids under 3, husband and parents. Firstly , the pack and play they provide for babies is disgusting- it’s hard plywood and I wouldn’t make my worst enemy sleep on that. Because of this- my kids had to sleep with me the entire vacation… the food was terrible , poor selection and taste and quality was poor. Service was just okay, nothing compared to the service I’ve received ...

Lots to do and a port-heavy itinerary!

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Jewel of the Seas

This was a great trip. The Jewel is one of the smaller ships but it was perfect for this intinerary because it was so port-heavy. I wouldn't reccomend getting the drink package on this one. It seems like a great idea at first but if you plan to leave the ship every day to visit the islands, it would be more economical to just buy your drinks individually. We chose this cruise because we've ...

Disappointing Experience for Longtime RCL Cruisers

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Jewel of the Seas

Long-time RCL cruisers. First AND LAST time we let them choose our room (we were just going along with our group). I should have known as soon as I opened the first drawer on the chipped dresser and the front of it fell off! Had to pound it back together. Our veranda was a rusty mess! In need of paint but not on the floor and table that was splattered with old paint. We had soot rain down ...

I am a D+ on RCL, so have really enjoyed them in the past. They now have gone paperless and have an app that you must use. It often takes 2 or 3 tries to get in. Why not perfect the app before launching it? The wifi is now the same way. You often have to try several times to log on. This is the first year that i have had poor wifi reception on a RCL ship. They have very few big shows as in the ...

A quick overview of Icon of the Seas from our Jan 20-23 preview sailing. Some background on us. Cruising nearly 20 years, have sailed on 10 cruise lines. We love all manner of ships from the Icons to the small 650 passenger vessels. Prior to Icon we've sailed Mariner and Symphony on Royal. From what we were told there were 4000 on our sailing and I can tell you the ship felt empty. This ship ...

Had a company cruise coming up, and my partner was unable to go, and I was informed I owed her a cruise. Well, fair enough, booked this one, and had a lovely time of it. I will say that the city of Miami is a bit expensive and all of our uber drivers got lost at least once, so that was odd, but the cruise itself was fantastic. While I don't recall his name, our steward was particularly great, ...

We chose this cruise because we like the Radiance class ships and for the port intensive itinerary. Here is a recap of our cruise and final thoughts after returning. Recap & Final thoughts: Pre Cruise stay: 2 nights at Condado Ocean Club. Premium Oceanview room. We really liked this hotel. It was clean and the bed was amazingly comfortable. Staff was helpful and friendly. The view from ...
