We will just do this review by lists, as it will give folks a blow-by-blow idea of what we loved and what kind of disgusted us. Before I start, let me say I would possibly consider cruising on this ship again, but with some major reservations.
Things I LOVED!!!
1) Ship is visually stunning! The main promenade is impressive, the public areas very clean, the decks roomy and well cared for, ...
We just got back from our 7 night Southern Caribbean cruise on the Freedom of the Seas. We were a party of four, my husband, myself, and two children, ages 8 and 4 1/2.
Our room was a 1 bedroom grand suite and was very spacious. We are notorious overpackers, with each of us packing two outfits per day plus swimming suits / coverups / etcs, plus shoes, and still did not utilize all of the ...
We have cruised Royal Caribbean more than 10 times (Freedom of the Seas 3 times); but we are getting very tired of the same old same old; don't get me wrong, if it is your first or second cruise you will really enjoy it but if you have done several, as we have, It seem no mater which ship you take they are all almost the same; same menu, same entertainment, same decor.
And on top of all that ...
For a long time we have been trying to get all my family from Puerto Rico together for a long time and this was the perfect time and departure port. We were also celebrating my birthday, my mom's birthday, Father's Day and my two year wedding anniversary. Our restaurant staff (Devkumar and Kadeem) were the BEST.. we were a group of 12 people in our party and the first night they put us in two ...
Other than the ship being new, modern, and clean, the rest was a big waste of money!
My biggest gripe is the kids club. THEY PUT 50 KIDS IN A SMALL SPACE WITH ONE COUNSELOR!!!
My son frequents kids clubs everywhere we vacation and NEVER has he refused to go. It's like prison for kids as this one attendant tried to keep them contained by sitting still and playing group games. And, if they ...
We choose this cruise because my wife & I took our 3-daughters, 3-son-in-laws and 8-grand children. They all had a blast and want to go again-we already took everybody to Alaska-in which they all said it was the best, but now the Harmony took that title. They had so many activities for the kids and parents that by the end of the day everybody was exhausted. Just outstanding! My wife and I have ...
We went on this cruise with a diverse group of ages, from 12 to 77. The ship is great, and seems to be maintained in very good condition, despite some of the other reviews I have read. They seem to be constantly cleaning and maintaining it. I really like the layout of the ship with the fifth floor grand promenade. Everything seem to be organized very well, and despite the size of the ship, it was ...
Size of the ship and it gave our grandchildren flexibility for so many options. Their isn't enough time to do everything in a week you want to do. The evening dinning experience was outstanding and our waiters go out of there way to make sure everything is to your pleasure. We ate at 5:30 every night in the main dinning room and Pablo and Prashant are so good you want to take them home with ...
One of the best cruise ships we have ever been on. From the staff, rooms, food, and overall activities to choose from, we could not have asked for more. The food at many of the available restaurants was excellent. We especially enjoyed the casual experience at Windjammer. The food was excellent every day! We were not highly impressed with the Chop House, especially for the price, but everything ...
We booked this cruise in March. In attendance were my parents, my husband and I, and our 10 and 12 y/o sons. (3 rooms) We love cruising because of its ability to cater to the different generations while keeping us together.
We’ve previously traveled with Carnival & Norwegian. I didn’t think twice about booking this years cruise with Royal Caribbean, confident that all cruises were created ...
