I had a good trip on Brilliance of the Seas! I chose it because i had future cruise credits but also as i've been on an alaskan cruise before and wanted to go on different ports. This cruise went to hubbard, tracy arm and sitka which i haven't been too before. It was good we went to 2 glaciers as hubbard was foggy and rainy. However, tracy arm was great as we got into 1/2 a mile of it. I liked my ...
This ship was old & the rooms weren't very nice? - need some major upgrades! - the sink in our cabin was awful? - they offered to move us but the next cabin - the sink was not much better? - so we just stayed where we were!
There were way too many kids - as I mentioned 600 on a ship of 2,500 passengers - but I guess that's because "Royal Caribbean" is more Family Oriented!? - I am "Elite" with ...
It's a smaller ship so go with the right expectation or you will be disappointed. We have traveled with Royal Caribbean many times, therefore, we have experienced their level of entertainment, glamorous vessels, tasty food and overall professionalism. With the Rhapsody of the Sea being considered one of their older and smaller ships, you could definitely notice the quality discrepancy. Even with ...
Chose this cruise because we didn't have to fly. Embarkation was uneventful. There were six of us. Four adults and two children. We were on the ship within 15 minutes after arriving. Absolutely, love the ship. Loved Central Park and Boardwalk. Granddaughters loved the slide, ziplining and merry go round. Yes, it was very crowded on the pool deck but that was to be expected. Was able to ...
This cruise was way too crowded for comfort. The pool chairs we always full. There is no splash pad and no babies allowed in the pool. Not even a blow up pool on the deck unless you agree to carry it full of water to the bathroom and dump the water there. There were only 4 bathroom stalls for the main pool.
Our aft suite looked over a blue roof and horizontal multiple metal bars. There ...
**Oasis of the Seas: The decline of Royal Caribbean Sky (Suite) class**
We are relatively long-time, avid fans of Royal Caribbean, having sailed 16 times in either Sky or Star class suites. What we have witnessed over the past several years is what must be the intentional, planned decline of Royal Caribbean’s suite-class experience. The Oasis of the Seas June 23-30, 2023 sailing from which we ...
Overall it was a very good cruise. It was for my grand niece high school graduation and there were about 20 of us who went on the cruise. The food in the main dining room and specialty restaurants were good, especially the Japaneserestaurant, Izumi. One of the main dining room managers was very rude and if i could've fired him, i would have..which is why they only got 4 stars. The wait staff for ...
We chose this cruise because we have sailed with Royal Caribbean several times before and had taken a break and tried MSC and P & O. However, for various reasons we did not want to go back to them so we went back to Royal Caribbean.
We went for our Foster daughters 18th birthday. I have to say I was really looking forward to this as i (Mistakenly it turns out) The biggest ship we had been on ...
First let me say the positive; the food everywhere on board was great. Staff was very pleasant, but obviously overworked.
Common areas on the ship were dirty and the bathrooms were a disaster. Toilet paper all over the floor, dirty sinks & toilets. You should know before you booked that room stewards only clean your room once a day....which would be OK except give us more than one set of ...
This was our second time cruising on Allure with our first having been back in 2015. It's still an impressive ship but there are many other ships in the Royal fleet that are newer or have been refreshed. Unfortunately, Allure missed its scheduled refresh back in 2020 due to the global pandemic and there has been no word form Royal when it's being rescheduled. There are definitely some noticeable ...
