8 day cruise from Port Canaveral to southern Caribbean. Port Canaveral Terminal 5 was one of the easiest luggage drop off and park your car experiences we have ever had. We arrived by 11 and the parking garage was filling up. Easy walk to the terminal and easy check in. We were looking forward to this ship as we had been on this class previous (Explorer) and very much enjoyed it. Upon entering the ...
After many people told us Royal Caribbean is the best cruise line we decided to take a last minute cruise out of Florida. My expectations had been set high from friends and family. So far I see a lot this ship and company needs to improve on.
I believe this was the first vacation I lost weight on. The food was awful. The food at the Windjammer (the buffet) was either undercooked or overcooked ...
Embarkation was the quickest ever - 20 min from entering building.
Food - really average and sometimes delivered cold. Speciality restaurants were found to be better.
Staff really good across the board.
Poolside music could have been turned down a little to be more of a relaxing feel.
Toilets - often found blocked and had to be reported to staff.
The ship is showing its age and ...
We got a good price of $399.00 per person. I woke up with projectile vomiting the first night after the prime rib. There are no bargains insofar as shopping is concerned; rudest witch ever in FACETS, the jewelry store. I guess she gave a "good interview" to get hired. I will give thanks to Jaime in guest services for finding gingerale for me. Thanks to Marko for helping me as well. Thanks to ...
This cruise was right after Thanksgiving, so they slowly were putting up Christmas decorations as the cruise went on. A little chillier but to be expected. Had great weather. Cabin was very nice. Food in mdr we gave a 8/10 and Windjammer 7/10 as we felt not quite the selection of the past. Very good but wanted a better variety. Crew was awesome and friendly. Lots to do as far as activities. Love ...
I went with my cousin on this cruise from LA to Miami via the Panama Canal. Overall, it was fine, but definitely not the caliber of cruises I had taken in the past (pre-pandemic) with RCC. My opinions are as follows:
Cabin: We had a junior suite, mid-ship, that met my expectation for space and comfort. The beds were very comfortable and the veranda had a lounger, which was nice to relax in. The ...
Wanted to do the panama canal cruise from LA to Miami.
Advertisement with johnny rockets and starbucks.
On board reality hits you:
No johnny rockets, no starbucks, to
Mislead you they ise starbucks cups but not eh coffee brand itself.
Ship is old and dirty, somethimes my plate from the windjammer was not clean. Food is left out to long resulting in bad food experience with burger ...
This was our 35th cruise on RCL, starting in 2002 on Explorere of the Seas. We sailed on Oasis of the Seas on its' preinaugural cruise in December 2009 and many times since. After trying for many years we finally got our family to join us. It was the first cruise for the grandchildren and only the second RCL cruise for their parents and our sons mother-in-law. We really wanted to get everyone ...
Chose this cruise for a Thanksgiving holiday getaway. The price was nice for just the wife and I. We had one of the rooms that overlooked the Royal Promenade. I enjoyed the room because you could feel the energy from your room. I thought the size of the ship was nice and not crowded. The shows, particularly the comedians were good/great. The Captain was very entertaining. The Captain talk was ...
The ship was really old and our inside cabin on deck 3 was full of mold in the bathroom. The interior was from the 80’s and looked really dull.
The service was great though and the restaurants was really nice with awesome service from the waiters. The Theater was also ok and provided various of artists, real proffesional ones.
The solarium was humid but not that warm at all, which was a ...
