Great Cultural Immersion Cruise - Excellent Ship, Great Staff, Terrifi

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Vision of the Seas

We had a terrific time on this Latin American cultural immersion cruise. There was Latin music to dance to every night. I don't speak Spanish, but all of the Royal Caribbean staff spoke English and we thoroughly enjoyed the Latin American influenced food. The entertainment was excellent, and we loved the acrobatic aerial show in the Centrum. The food in the main dining room was outstanding, and we ...

Great Ports and good experience with the Latin American

We had a very nice cruise which was both exciting seeing all the new ports and experiencing the Latin American culture and also relaxing as for us there wasn't a lot to do on the ship so there was no guilt in going to bed early! We stayed the night before the cruise in the Country Inn and Suites Panama Canal and then hired Rudy's Private tours to show us the sites of Panama (both pre and post ...

My wife and I took this "Cultural Awareness" cruise last week. Although the majority of the passengers were from Latin America, as English speaking Canadians, we felt no discomfort whatsoever. All of the staff onboard spoke English, and Royal Caribbean delivered their typical excellent service. If you enjoy the evening shows, then you may be dissapointed as the majority where in Spanish, however ...

We just got back from an 8 night cruise on board the Enchantment of the Seas - Royal Caribbean. Embarking out of Colon, Panama, with stops in Puerto Limon, Costa Rica; Cartagena, Colombia; Santa Marta, Colombia; and Oranjestad, Aruba; finally docking in Fort Lauderdale, FL. For those of you who want details on the actual ship "The Enchantment of the Seas" let's get started. It's a very nice ...

This is my review of the Enchantment of the Seas Columbia and Dutch Caribbean cruise: Prior to departure we spent two days in Panama City taking in the sites and the Panama Canal. We had a private tour which was fantastic! If you ever find yourself in Panama, the canal is a must; we spent several hours there watching the ships; truly fascinating! Now, onto the cruise; we boarded the ship in ...

It is a pleasure to recommend this cruise and highlight the fact it has been one of the best short breaks we've ever had as a family. Food: good variety and high quality. Being a vegetarian family, we thought we'd be limited by the options, but to our pleasant surprise, during the seven-day cruise, there was a carefully prepared menu including fresh vegetables and salads, fresh made soups, variety ...

Background - My wife and I are RCI diamond members and this was our first cruise as diamond members. We are in our mid-forties with two boys' ages 5 and 11. We normally take two cruises per year. This was the first time that we flew to a cruise with the kids and it was also our first repositioning cruise. RCI is our favorite line. We also like Cunard. This was our 16th cruise and 8th on RCI. We ...

This was the repositioning cruise from Colon to Ft. Lauderdale.  Flew to Miami, overnight, then on to Panama City the next morning.  After going through customs in Panama, there was a lot of Chaos and confusion in trying to get onto the RCCL transportation to the ship.  Since they don't send luggage tags ahead of time if you do electronic documents (I won't do that again) there were about 300 ...

This was our 12th cruise with RCCL; our second as diamond members.  We were looking at various cruise itineraries a couple of months ago with friends and this one was a "late bloomer"...not one of our initial choices.  As fate would have, this one worked out the best, and it ended up being just the two of us.  We could not have asked for a better cruise experience! We traveled from Tulsa, OK (TUL) ...

We are a family of 4. 12 and 15 yr. old kids. Travel quite a bit to odd places, not your typical 5 star all-inclusive resort style family. We also speak "enough" Spanish to get by. Not fluently, but enough. Would highly recommend knowing at least your basics. Gracias and Por favor and perdon go a long way. We got great Continental Air tickets from Detroit to Panama for $258.00 a piece. ...
