Best transatlantic ever

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Jewel of the Seas

RCCL offered a very attractive price for this cruise, and we were looking for a smaller ship (i.e., less than 3,000). The Jewel is not new, but it has been kept up well and the public rooms are all very nice and comfortable. The service was outstanding, starting with a very visible and friendly captain from Canada. Everything operated very efficiently and, if something was to our dissatisfaction, ...

We like transatlantic cruises. This was one of the finest. We made new friends, and fully relaxed with the activities provided. We especially enjoyed Charlotte and her watercolor classes, and the lectures on medicine. Cigar/cigarette smoke is highly offensive to me, and gives me migraines, and yet the casino was one of the freshest we ever experienced, as we occasionally passed through it. I did ...

We chose this cruise because it provided a way to get to Europe fairly economically when you consider all room and board and good food and entertainment and excellent childcare and programs included! We got to see many beautiful places on our cruise and had the option of taking paid for excursions or venturing out on our own. Excellent staff and service! We didn't want for anything! All of ...

We chose this cruise because of the excellent value, the Loyalty program and the destination. We love Barcelona and live part of the year near Tampa, so the itinerary was important to us as well. We have wanted to visit Lanzarote and it will not disappoint if you like moonscapes and volcanoes. We booked with an alternative tour agency and spent about 6 hours on the island. Gran Canaria and La ...

We wanted a lot of R & R at Sea!!! It was also on my husbands bucket list to do a trans Atlantic cruise. It was wonderful. We love cruising and visiting with others in the lounges. Had awesome dinner guest at our table. We would do it again in a heart beat and have another plan for this August out of Coppenhagen to Boston with great stops between. We do short cruises (7-9 day) in between ...

I had a wonderful time on Navigator of the Seas, it has been a few years since I sailed on her so it was nice to return. Embarkation was very smooth and very easy at Southampton as always. My cabin was 6209 an inside but kept very clean and tidy by Imade Muliana as all stateroom attendants he worked hard. All staff were amazing and all seemed happy and again worked hard. Kristina in the Schooner ...

A disco for small children was the only thing that we missed, half an hour 7.30 ish would have been great . Service from all the staff was very good , dining room was lovely , food excellent with lots of choice. Seven and five year old ate with us in dining room and were very well ...

This was our first transatlantic cruise, and we could not be happier. Seas were calm, Weather was great, lots to do ( or not do) on the ship. We got a 5 night dining package and especially loved Sabor and Chops. We also did the Chefs Table which was terrific. The meal and wine were really good. His included a galley tour which I enjoyed a lot. Fascinating to see how they produce that volume of ...

bringing "our" Freedom/ Seas back home was again a wonderful experience. In april we sailed her from Fort Lauderdale to Barcelona. We said enough TA for this year but we simply could not resist this amazing ship with even more amazing staff. it was our very first cruise ship, is that the reason why we love her so much, not sure is it because there is such a variety of food and ...
