RCI Exceeded Our Expectations

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Independence of the Seas

This is our fifth time we have sailed with Royal Caribbean and it was our best experience with the RCI brand. To enable a smooth boarding experience we received an email a few days before our cruise advising us when we could check in at the pier, this was prioritised via cabin decks; a really good idea so that the boarding was staggered rather than 4000 passengers all turn up at the same time. ...

An American View of a Cruise to the Canaries

My review is from perspective an American who has been on several other Royal Caribbean cruises. I was surprised that only about 5% of the passengers were from the US; my experience with the earlier cruises was that the majority of passengers were Americans even for cruises in Europe. In any case, the time on the cruise ship a lot like being in Britain, which certainly was an interesting ...

1st cruise and I was not disappointed! Arrived at the port at around 10am and got parked up and checked in immediately. We only had a 30 minute wait in the terminal before we were called to embark. We were on the ship within an hour of parking! The ship is huge! I was so glad we got on early so we had a few hours to explore before the staterooms are available at 1pm. We had a Promenade ...

Embarkation was fast and easy. Had a great time on a wonderful ship. Dining was great as always and the Diamond Lounge staff were fantastic. Ports were beautiful. we only did 4 shore excursions, Santiago de Compostela, Fatima, sailed the Santa Maria and Windsor Castle. Ice shows were great, and the few entertainment shows we went to were also great. We spent a lot of time in the gym and it was ...

Review for a Europe - British Isles & Western Cruise on Navigator of the Seas

This cruise was made brilliant by the ship staff and the entertainment. The Moroccan stop was disappointing as its definitely not as good as Tangier where we have been before. The canaries stops are what you would expect and great for the winter sun. LaHavre is way too far from paris so we went to a quaint little fishing villiage instead. I have to say I really enjoyed the stops and some were ...

This was my first experience at cruising and I am so pleased I chose Royal Caribbean to go with, I will never go with anyone else as no other company could come close to matching this magical holiday. The ease of boarding surprised us as we expected hours of waiting around, this didn't happen and we were onboard and in our stateroom before 1pm. The stateroom was comfortable and pristinely ...

This was our first cruise together, being only 20 and 21 we were very sceptical as to how we would find it but we had a wonderful time - we are already planning our next one! Embarkation - Check in was absolutely brilliant very fast and smooth, probably on the ship within less than an hour - very impressed. Ship - Since neither of us had ever been on a ship before it was actually ...

Jewel TransAtlantic April 2016

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Jewel of the Seas

We left Ft. Lauderdale on 28 April. At the port we checked in and as we had suites, we avoided the lines and were whisked right on. After unpacking, we went to the concierge lounge and made our dinner reservations for specialty restaurants. New rule on the Jewel – you can only use the BOGO on nights 1 and 2. This sucks because no one wants to eat big meals two nights in a row, especially at ...
