Good stuff first, food was good the dining service staff Cynthia and Sandeep were awesome. Our room Stewart Clarke very friendly did a great job. PEI tour was great. That was the reason we went. My wife is big fan of the Ann of green gables. Getting on was the normal made house stuff you get while getting on a big ship.
The tours :Cabot trail was a few stops enclosing a stop at a closed ...
We took this cruise to celebrate my 39th birthday. This was my first cruise since my diagnosis so i was prepared to only have a few things available to eat but boy was i wrong!!! This cruise turned out to be the best one we have ever been on, and it wouldn't have been possible without the staff kicking butts and taking names (and food and drink orders) the entire time!
Ship: 3/5
The ship is ...
Let me start with this: I love cruising. I've been on 15+ cruises, from the Odyssey of the Seas to the Nordic Prince that was retired ages ago, from RCCL to Princess to Celebrity to Norwegian to Holland America, and more. As cruises go, this was one I won't ever do again. This was supposed to be a "Fall Colors" cruise, but we missed the colors by a couple weeks, I think, as most trees were bare ...
This is for a 9 day New England and Canadian cruise. We had an 11AM check in, but were quickly admitted on board 15 minutes ahead of time. Our balcony stateroom on the 8th deck was spacious and comfortable, but on the night of the 70s Promenade "Party" (just a motivation to buy drinks), we heard the bass noises from the 5th deck. Our room steward was very good, even though he forgot to fill up our ...
Overall, the cruise was great with interesting and scenic ports. The ship offered several communal spaces with lots of activities. Great food and service! Biggest complaint was timing and/or lack of evening shows.
Pros: Good Windjammer buffet but would like more variety at lunches. Service in MDR was outstanding. Initial cabin requests were handled quickly and our room steward was efficient and ...
I never thought I would be disappointed on a cruise BUT our cruise on Serenade of the Seas earned that title. The ship needs an update and in an overhaul approach. We booked an interior stateroom on the 7th floor and decided to bid on an upgraded room. For 380 dollars we were “upgraded” to the 2nd floor (the bottom of the ship”) with a porthole the size of a pie. We could only access our floor ...
Overall we enjoyed our trip. The housekeeping staff were wonderful, as were the staff members in the Windjammer and Main Dining Room on Deck 4. I also thought that the shore excursions were well organized. And the tour guides were very knowledgeable.
However, we had a number of problems with the Guest Services staff. We needed to borrow a wheelchair and the member at the desk flat out refused, ...
Wanted an accessible getaway with no flight required...and this worked. Pleasantly surprised and loved the smaller ship. The food could have been hotter but that's about the only real thing that was noteable. Some meals outshined others...but we had no complaints....the buffet was a buffet -with a ton of options and the other venues were quite good.. Chefs dinner was phenomenal. We did use room ...
This was our fourth cruise on Liberty of the Seas, unfortunately the fourth was no where near as good as an experience as the previous 3. We arrive at our assigned check in time and had to wait on line over an hour to check in eventhough we were required to precheck in online. The overall process appeared less organined than in the past. Food quality was poor, most of the time hot food served ...
Just got off a nice day cruise New York, Boston, Portland, Maine, Bar Harbor, Halifax, and St. John.
Overall the cruise was wonderful. We had a fantastic time. I'm giving a five star because of the value for the money, destinations, and all the extras they did for us. The ship itself is ready for refurbishment, but that's okay as it's reflected on the price we paid for a balcony cabin, which ...
