First and last cruise

Review for a Bermuda Cruise on Serenade of the Seas

The first issue was the fact that we got rerouted to Portland Maine for a day (which I could drive to from NH any day for an hour and a half). So we really only had two days in Bermuda. The first day we had a good time at horse show bay. The second day we went to a beach closer to the cruise ship since we had to revised by 4:30 to make it back before leaving. The beach was suppose to open at 9 and ...

Worst Ship Ever

This cruise was not luxurious, enjoyable, or accommodating after working hard all year to pay to have a week of relaxation and a good time. A list of things that need serious improvement: • The food - The meals on this ship were less than sub par. I was highly disappointed in the options and the execution of the food. I can cook better than these supposedly trained chefs. I can promise you, ...

Terrible rooms and terrible public relations

As a frequent cruiser, I have maintained that Royal was my favorite line. Not so after this trip. The balcony room that I had, had a thermostat that did not work, toilet that never would flush without manual assistance, and mattress and pillows that were so hard that some cruisers purchased "egg crates" is Quebec City to improve the condition . I repeatedly had to request tissues and toilet paper. ...

I wanted to take my elderly mother on a calm cruise as a cruise was on her bucket list. When I boarded the ship I ask if I could rent a wheelchair for my mother I was declined do to the face I did not make arrangements when I booked the reservation. I didn’t think we would need one 3 mo prior to the trip. I was spoken to TERRiBLE by the security personal. After we boarded the ship an after a 2 ...

We had never gone up North. We picked RC as we had never cruise with them. We have over eleven cruises behind us, and this one was the worst ship, food, rooms and over all a total disappointment. We had a balcony on deck 7. The room were so tiny. The showers was the worst I have ever seen on any other ship, I actually had to stick my leg and rested on the toilet so I could soap my legs. We do like ...

Disappointing Cruise on Adventure of Seas

We were looking to go to Canada/New England. But was highly disappointed with Royal Caribbean. The food in both the Main Dining Room and the Windjammer were the same food everyday. Basically no variety even though on the website and on ship it states that there is different food everyday. Not on this cruise. The pool area: the pool and splash area closed at 6 pm everyday. Kids on the cruise ...

Very dirty stained furniture in cabin! Very limited food available after 9 pm, bring you own snacks! Many elevators broken and not working causing issues for passengers with walking issues and could be dangerous in an emergency! Menu for dinner in main dining room very limited and repetitious night after night, menu for breakfast identical every day! Workers doing paint chipping before 8 in the ...

Cabin- Workable, several non-functioning items. Cabin Steward was great. Dining services- We were a group of 10 which had arranged to eat together, and had confirming e-mails. When we got there we were split up. We waited at dining services on the 5 floor which sent us to guest services, which sent us to dining services on the 4th floor, which sent us to dining services on the 3rd ...

This was our first experience of Royal Caribbean but sadly, very likely to be our last. Embarkation and disembarkation went quite quickly and smoothly but that is about it for the positives. We did not choose or cabin as it was part of a package deal but found it to be one of the smallest inside cabins we have ever had, very cramped. It was not very clean and obviously had not been hovered in a ...

If you want to eat after 10 in the evening and want more then a roll or a burnt pizza. Entertainment was a joke the cruise director needs replacing. Example colouring by numbers as an afternoon entertainment. The cruise seemed to concentrate on people who were returning customers rather then new. Formal nights were a joke, you got dressed up to walk into the dining room for your evening meal ...
