A TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT!!!!!

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Navigator of the Seas

Being an experienced cruiser with many different cruise lines, and as Diamond Club members of Royal Caribbean, my wife and I looked forward to this transatlantic journey for the ship, the food, the entertainment and for the stop in Boston, one of the few ports we hadn't been to. We were horribly dissappointed on all counts! Anything involving guest relations was terribly mismanaged, with ...

Standards plummet but onboard prices rocket.

Having a home in England and a winter home in Florida we always cruise both both ways, in November and April. Usually the cruise lines try to make this repositioning cruise special but from the moment we boarded it had the feeling of a ferry. Food in the self-service and main dining room was of the cheapest quality so much so that one night after two inedible dishes I ordered eggs & chips. Formal ...

No activities during the day, No exercise, dance or yoga classes. Only trivia, if you like trivia. RCCL trivia scheduled for 5:00 pm which interferes with guests dressing for dinner. Items in Cruise Compass so very hard to read because print was so very small and cruise director would not accept constructive criticism. Captain and Hotel director were only seen one time. Captain at top ...

I was recovering from Cancer, and the cruise was a delayed 70th birthday celebration. Celebration!!!! That was the last thing this cruise was. I had believed that Royal Caribbean would be a reputable company, but it seemed that you penny-pinched in almost every corner of the ship. The shows were abysmal. Only two of them were worthy to be called shows, these were the 'Beatles' and the Ice ...

Terrible Food!

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Serenade of the Seas

We chose this cruise mas my wife is a California girl who has never been to the East coast or the Caribbean. We spent a week in New England and then got on the ship in Boston. The food was absolutely terrible. The specialty restaurants especially Chops were good. The food on the cruise was so poor that you were forced to the specialty restaurants and it appeared that my have been the plan. ...

Out of Touch

The boarding process was efficient. Our room steward was fantastic. Our servers in the dining room were fantastic. The food ranged from mediocre to deplorable. The very limited entertainment was amateur and below average. The technology is antiquated. The Captain runs his mouth too much. The Cruise Director has lost touch with the people who sale Royal Caribbean. Both the Captain and ...

Recently took a 9 night Canada and New England Cruise out of Baltimore on Royal Caribbean Grandeur of the Seas. This was the September 1 to the 10, 2016 and included ports in Boston, Portland, Bar Harbor, St John and Halifax. I originally wrote to Royal Caribbean about this experience as it had to be one of the worst trips I have ever taken. Let me start with a couple of good points. ...

Review for a Bermuda Cruise on Anthem of the Seas

We did a 7 day "extended" version of the normal 5 day Bermuda cruise on Anthem. There wasn't a single thing that I liked about the ship from check in to disembarkation. When we arrived at the port we were met in the street by "checkinpeople" with tablet computers. A line quickly formed around them and yet they failed to tell anyone that there were 40 more people like them inside the building ...

First Time with RCI

Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on Serenade of the Seas

If you are considering a first time cruise with RCI, buyer beware. RCI said they could get us a great airline ticket from Seattle to Quebec City. What we got was three segments starting out in the morning and arriving at Quebec City at midnight. We contacted Air Canada and spent the extra money to change the flight schedule to two segments and we arrived in Quebec City at 7:30pm. This was ...

Worst Experience Ever

Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on Liberty of the Seas

This was our first cruise from the very first moments of mass confusion once we boarded the ship set the tone for want was to follow for the next 10 days. There is very little, if any customer service available. The lines at the service desk were very long nearly every single day. The ship is in need of some attention. Some of the seats in the pizza parlor were taped together with duct ...
