Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on Adventure of the Seas

We had sailed with RC 2 times prior and had satisfactory cruises. Friends had booked this cruise and invited us to join them. When trying to get anywhere on the fully booked ship, having so many elevators out of service was indeed a huge inconvenience. Some had no AC and were always packed tight. Getting around the ship proved difficult as you couldn't cross over to the other side ...

Used RCI before and it was great. Not so much this time around. Beds were extremely uncomfortable. Springs popping up. Hard as a board. Complained twice. They tried to fix the problem but were never able to make it comfortable. Bathroom was very small. Shower was even smaller. Air temperature in the cabin was cooler than we’ve ever had which is a good thing. Food in the buffet was very ...

I hope this report is as helpful to those heading to New England & Canada as other reports were for us preparing for our cruise. This was our 5th cruise all with RCL and the first time on Adventure of the Seas. Liberty is our favorite ship. Overall we had a very nice time. What attracted us to this ship was its itinerary. We had wanted to do the NE/Canada itinerary for some time. We flew to ...

Have been a cruiser for many years. Choose this cruise for date and itinerary. Went to New England and Canada September 2018. Very disappointed in Royal Caribbean. Check in was ok but out pier staff repremended us for not printing out our paper copy of the sea pass cards and stated now she would have to do it! Shows were Horrible. They advertise broadway type performances, but I’ve seen better ...

I have always wanted to go the the New England states along with some parts of Canada. I chose this one because it seemed to fit the bill. boarding and getting off the ship was very easy and fast. This cruise was geared more for a older crowd. Not much activity, very small pool but lots of pool side loungers. Ice cream was very yummy. First couple of nights the Main dining room was very ...

Comfortable cruise. Excellent staff from dining room to stateroom. However excursion In Bar Harbor to Acadia and lobster bake was a total bust. Tour was rushed through Park and we arrived 11 AM for Lobster Bake.Tour should have been one hour longer. Waste of money. Small lobster tail 1/3 piece of corn and two small potatoes. Opportunity to see a beautiful park lost. Could have booked our own ...

First time for RCL to go to Greenland. Plus Iceland and other ports. Embarcation was fastest of any cruise we have been on. Very satisfied with all acpects of the ship. Weather prevented use of most outside facilities and activities. The "at sea" days were spread out ,which was good. Only negative was that the food in the main dining was average at best. About 60% of the menu was the same ...

Two years ago, we found ourselves cruising the Baltic on the Serenade. During that sailing, they began advertising for their fall crossing from Copenhagen to Boston. It looked intriguing, so we kept our eyes peeled for future crossings. Cut to 2017, and they released our itinerary with the addition of Greenland! We jumped at the chance to book it, and we were not disappointed! What was ...

Having sailed with RCCL many times I expected a great cruise on a grrat ship. Sailed out of Copenhagen. The Seranade of the Seas is in dire need of extensuve updating and repairs. Windows in the Safari Club lounge haf 1" of water between the panes. It had formed into algae. Water leaking in windows in the Windjammer. Casino tobacco smoke was not ventilated properly spilling in to public areas. ...

My husband & I had a great time on the cruise. Really nice room with a balcony which was very clean. Great entertainment - loved the shows, singers, dancers, comedy and terrific 70s night and Ice Show. The ports we're good - especially the Lighthouse stop in Halifax, the Halifax Garedens, the Harbor walk in St John that we did on our own and Trolley Car tour we did in Portland. Traveled with 6 ...
