Honest Opinion Cruise to Noumea & Vanauatu

Review for a South Pacific Cruise on Quantum of the Seas

Chose this cruise to enjoy with first time cruising friends. Balcony room (4D) cabin port side aft. Extras Paid for 1, Wifi package 7 days. Was good enough and dropped out now and then. Should be free. 2, Drinks package. Recommended as drinks could have got costly. Sometimes staff seem to be on a go slow instruction and avoid eye contact and take a long time to serve. 3, Noumea - ...

We travelled with 2 others on the cruise, it's always better to have some friends to come along with you. We booked the GTY internal, but were given a virtual window, our friends booked a window and got given a balcony...lucky them. Been on Quantum a few times in last year, so knew what to expect and been to same islands many times, but love the islands. Our room was quiet and had a few ...

out of the 3 cruises I have done in my life, this was the best one, and in my mind, it got to do with who your with and the amount you want to do on a ship I travelled with my dad's partners family and it was amazing, and had a balcony cabin all to myself The Ship - Great The Food and Beverage - Great and plentiful (although, something I am finding with RC is that the soda machines like ...

Smooth sailing

We had a terrific time on this cruise. It was the smoothest sailing I’ve ever experienced. The food was excellent particularly in the Wonderland and Chops Grille restaurants, we weren’t going to dish out the extra dollars for these except on the first day the head waiter came over to us and said he’d do a deal being half price. So we asked at Wonderland if they could do us a deal and they did ...

A nice pleasant cruise without bad weather or problems. Been on ship about 4 times so knew what to expect with regards food and entertainment. Last time on was back in February 23, still has that strange show Starwater going, it's slow to start but does finish well, also Sequence and Lace main show still running, it's a great show, also Sonic Odessey show still running, it's good ...

We booked this cruise because we needed a relaxing getaway. We had a great time apart from a couple of minor irritations. This was our third cruise with RCI, and we had even travelled on Quantum of the Seas back in 2018 (see my review of that cruise here: https://www.cruisecritic.com.au/memberreviews/memberreview.cfm?EntryID=606582) Fortunately for us this was a very different ...

We (7 adults, 5 kids) have just completed an 8 day cruise around the South Pacific out of Brisbane. One of our 3 ports, Port Vila, was cancelled due to the recent storms, meaning we had just two stops - Mystery Island and Noumea. Mystery Island is a beautiful stop, crystal clear water and nice little beaches. Noumea not so great, especially when all the beaches were closed for swimming due to ...

price was right for a break from home after covid lockdown, but too many problems for cruisers with a disability?? steps everywhere show's at both ends of ship starting 15 minutes after the other show finished? and not a small ship?? most times had to sit on our wheelie walkers to view the shows. 2-70 thearter waste of time for disability cruisers, staff very helpful, meals in silks ...

The cruise to nowhere, then somewhere

I wanted to celebrate my 60th birthday by going on a 'local' cruise so that the friends we invited didn't have to fly anywhere. From an original group of 14, seven sailed on March 10. This was only our second RCL cruise but we ticked over 150 days at sea with this four nighter. It was also our first cruise on a mega ship. We got a good price on a J4 junior suite that included USD260 obc. We ...
