Ship and crew lovely but cruise cut short
"In the end we only (just) got to Lifou - the other ports were cancelled and the cruise was cut short from 11 days to 8 days due to a mechanical issue with the ship.Apart from the disappointment of missing ports and having the cruise cut short, I really liked the ship, the crew, the activities and entertainment, and enjoyed my time onboard generally...."Read More

My husband and I sailed on what we call "the cruise to nowhere", being the 19 March 2024 Brilliance of the Seas "11 day "cruise to the South Pacific from Sydney, Australia The cruise was meant to head to Lifou, Noumea, Mystery Island, Port Vila and Luganville for 11 days. In the end we only (just) got to Lifou - the other ports were cancelled and the cruise was cut short from 11 days to 8 days ...

A friend at work recommended a cruise, in a moment of madness we booked through luxury escapes for 10 nights leaving Sydney for New Caledonia and Vanuatu. The ship is tired and showing its age, tattoos looked compulsory, probably with their room number so when they are inebriated they can find their way back. At this time, the start of our cruise season is usually very good, but this time ...

After having cruised with P&O and Carnival I was expecting better than what was on offer from Royal Caribbean on this cruise. The embarkation process was quick and easy. Our oceanview cabin was clean and spacious but the interior furnishings like the sofa, were tired looking and in need of upgrading. The bed was not comfortable and we had to get our room attendant to find some mattress toppers ...

We have been on 3 cruises now. Our experience on Royal- Brilliance was not all we expected. The ship looked clean on the inside, but our(interior) hall way stunk all the time. There was a real need for maintenance-painting, etc. We heard some of the crew bickering among each other. Never heard that one a cruise! The food was just ok. We are not picky eaters ,and love to try new and ...
