I did a B2B on the Grandeur, New England/Canada followed by Bermuda for a total of 14 nights.
I can’t say enough about how amazing the entire crew were, always had time to say “hello” and went out of their way to make sure you were enjoying your cruise.
The ship is smaller in size than most, however, big in personality.
I loved the ports of call, my favorite port was Bar Harbor. Right ...
We really enjoyed our time on this cruise! It was my husband's first, so he was a little sick on the first sea day, but he recovered and we had a great time in Bermuda and on the ship! I highly recommend the deluxe drink package, we found it very convenient and it provided peace of mind that we could enjoy ourselves without having to worry about a giant bar bill at the end of the trip.
We did ...
Love the friendliness of the crew, fantastic Captain with a great sense of humor! Itinerary was great. I did a B2B Canada/New England followed by Bermuda.
When you go to the Centrum bar look up Madagascar, best bar tender in the fleet. Food was mainly good, some meals could be improved upon.
Deck 4 is the best deck in my opinion, right off the Centrum, close to dining room and ...
My wife and I chose this cruise mainly because of the departure port, Baltimore. We drove to the port for an effortless departure. We had also heard that New England and Canada was a great place to visit by ship. We enjoyed our dining experiences very much. The Great Gatsby dining room menu was varied and interesting. Our waiters, Desmond and Cyrus were superb and so helpful. The Windjammer buffet ...
Welcome back, friends & family. That's how I feel every time I cruise on Royal Caribbean. This trip to New England and Canada was outstanding in every aspect except two days of rocky seas, but Mother Nature had her own mind. We had port visits in Boston, Bar Harbor, Portland, Saint John and Halifax. Yes, we have been to each of those ports on previous cruises but I must say that my favorite port ...
We chose this cruise as it sailed out of Baltimore, MD where my boyfriend has family. So we got a cruise and chance to visit!
Cabin was immaculate and the attendant was fantastic! Always came back to a clean room no matter how many time we came and went!
Windjammer was o.k. but I was not pleased with the vegetable selections. Seemed every "vegetable" dish was heavily laden with onions. ...
Chose this cruise for destination and size of ship.(small). Bermuda is gorgeous. Took the Amtrak from Lynchburg to Baltimore. Recommend Business Class on train. We sat at a table in facing seats and had lots of conversation on the train. Train has internet, outlets, comfortable seats and good food. Stayed overnight at Embassy Suites by Hilton near airport. Suite and hotel were excellent. ...
Great trip, biggest gripe was being too short of a vacation. Food is great, Staff is great and Service is Excellent. Was a bit rocky but made the best of hurricane season. We took a taxi ride around part of Bermuda and really got to take in the beautiful island, would highly recommend and only cost $180 for 6 of us to enjoy. The next day we did some shopping and a few went to the beach to enjoy ...
I have always wanted to see Maine in the summer/fall and this cruise offered several ports/cities that I had not been to before as I grew up out west. It's a great option for seeing several cities in New England in a 5-day period.
We took an Alaskan cruise about 3 years ago on another cruise line and had a great time but the ship was very large and hard to navigate (almost like living inside a ...
This cruise was perfect in almost every way.
Embarkation: Easy breezy in Baltimore. The port authority staff was friendly and helpful. We dropped our luggage on a wagon, and walked in to fill out paperwork. We arrived at the port at 11 am and walked right onto the Grandeur within 15 minutes.
Ship: As previously stated in other reviews, the Grandeur is a bit older and does show some wear. ...
