Excellent New England/Canada Cruise

Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on Grandeur of the Seas

I have taken this trip before, and this time I had the opportunity to spend more time on self directed day trips. I had the opportunity to visit craft beer pubs, all within walking distance of the ports. The weather was excellent and the foliage still in color (I was told that this was the warmest October in both St. John and Halifax). Dining was memorable and top notch. In the buffet I ...

Our 5th cruise with Royal Carribbean. The ship is older and smaller but sailed well. I enjoyed the New England and Canada ports. We went to the main dinning room for dinner the first night and the line was so long, we went to Chops because they came and offered a discounted rate to eat for those of us standing in line. The next morning we went to the main dining room for breakfast and the ...

Decided on Royal Caribbean due to a buy one get one 50% off deal. Port was super convenient and close to our home. First cruise and was very impressed by all aspects of the cruise. Great food, service and tons of events for entertainment. Very clean ship! There was always something going on and the crew were so willing to do whatever you asked. I did not encounter one rude person on the ship. The ...

Loved this cruise! Two days on the ship Days 1 and 2, afternoon to next morning in Bermuda Day 3. Then Day 4-5 back on ship and home to port in Baltimore, MD. Wonderful experience! Staff bent over backwards to make our cruise special! Except for a little rocky weather on day 4, we enjoyed sitting on our balcony watching the sea. The shows, the food, the shore excursions, everything was ...

. I found this cruise simply because my spouse wanted to only go on a five day cruise and this was perfect. I liked that it was a different cruise line then the one we traveled before. I wanted to make a comparison to see which was better. I will use Royal Caribbean from now on. You know exactly how to treat your guests, from the cabins to the entertainment and the food who could ask for ...

Short cruise to Bermuda

Great experience, super service, fantastic food, excellent entertainment, exceptional excursion experience. One rough night due to weather, but even that really wasn't all that bad. All in all probably the most efficient way we have ever traveled. Disembarking was thorough, quick, ahead of schedule, scary and quite confusing. Our room attendant, waitstaff, and program staff were all extremely ...

When getting on the ship from Baltimore things went smoothly, very easy for first timers. Don't go early (there is a lot of people). If you go a little later you can almost walk right though. The ship was always clean. In the 5 nights we were on the boat I only saw one thing on the floor on the stairwell, I think someone had just dropped it. Very Clean. The cruise was smooth. The cabin we had ...

This being my first cruise i really have nothing to compare it to. However, royal caribbean has set the bar high for future cruises. The service was outstanding! The food was to live for!! The night life was always exciting, and the staff was outgoing, friendly, and warm. The entertainment on the cruise was top quality. I especially liked the forever elvis shows. Each show was different, but both ...

Excellent staff and dining service experience was great. Ports are very good. Older ship but good size. Older passengers on this cruise 50 to 80 years old. Not for younger crowd. Activities and shows geared for older crowd. Could offer better selections for movies and shows. Friendly staff who pleased passengers. Go for the ports. Not a party ship. This ship was a good size. Never was too crowded ...

We had never been to the NE US coast or Eastern Canada In addition, we wanted to see the Fall foliage and try our first lobster. We met previous travel friends who live in Boston and they provided us with a great tour of the city, Fenway park, the Freedom trail and Little Italy. In Portland we went on the firetruck tour and also on a lobster boat. Bah Habah was a real gem where we went on an ...
