Had a great time on this cruise, weather was nice, staff was great.I thought food was good and had a very good supper on our anniversary in chops. This is the second time on this 12 day cruise and rebooked for next Dec.Had a good time at the ports we stopped at although St.Maartin has a ways to go and needs the business to get them going after the hurricanes that went through. There was considerable ...

Grandeur Baltimore to Bahamas Nov / Dec 2017 - Our Pros and Cons. Room 7519

Grandeur of the Seas (9-day southeastern coast and Bahamas). This is my evaluation only. Embarkation: • Had a relative drop us off in front of the terminal and our bags placed on carts. As many years as Royal Caribbean has been using this home port, a large sign would go a long ways to denote where their drop off area is. When we arrived we asked a person directing traffic and she pointed ...

This cruise was recommended and affordable for my husband and I. We had an amazing experience. We were served with smiles and excellent customer service with every interaction. Dining was great with Desmond and Loxely, such excellent quality service. Natalie in the fitness center was a joy and delight to take classes with. Entertainment was superior. The cabin was always kept in excellent ...

Friendliest ship on the high seas

We chose this cruise because of the 12-day Itinerary and leaving out of Baltimore, eliminating the need to fly. Easy to drive to the port. The service was great, everyone was friendly, attentive and helpful. The ship is getting a little old so needs to be refurbished but putting that aside she is a beautiful ship. The cruise director and activities director were both great. The entertainment ...

Best Captain in the fleet!

I chose this cruise not because of anything other than the crew, I couldn’t understand why so many people love the Baltimore port until I sailed on Lady G in September, by the time I got off the ship I booked a B2B, just got off the ship from a 21 day B2B I have 2 more booked on her in 2018 with more to come. Wonderful Captain that has humor, keeps us updated and mingles with the guests. Crew ...

Good deal for the ports that we wanted to visit and have cruised with RCI on the Grandeur before. Our room steward, Roy, was very atttentive to our needs and always fulfilled everything that we needed. Loved the eveing surprise "towel animals" when we returned to our room at night. Dining staff in main dining room were remarkable....Avdesh and Atul....went way beyond what was sufficient. ...

we have been on this ship several times since she came out. She is smaller, but still has class. The ports were terrific. Food was great in all parts of eating areas. Alexis, the head waiter from Portugal, was terrific. As were several others. Ship was clean. Most of the staff were terrific. If there was a problem, it was taking care of in a timely manner. Stateroom smaller than expected, ...

Went to ports for the most part that we had not been to. We also prefer to leave from Baltimore. We can drive to the port. That way we don't have to deal with the pain of flying and paying an exhorbitant amount for luggage since it was a twelve night cruise. Staff and crew were terrific. We like the smaller ships because we see the same people in the centrum and get to make new friends. ...

Love to go on long cruises as this one was twelve days. Antigua has so many beautiful beaches. We went to Ffryes beach on a shore excursion. Great choice. The captain and his family were there also, so I know it was a great choice. The Grandeur may be small but the crew were the most friendly than any other ship I have been on. The food was delicious every night. I have no complaints ...

we keep coming back to this ship and each time we see nice improvements to service, food and customer care. Grandeur is one of RCL's smaller ships but we like the ships under 3,500 people. Having taken 3 trips of the over 5,000 guests mega ships we keep coming back . We were travelling with 2 couples The Port of Baltimore is convenient for us to fly into from Buffalo. This ...
