We chose this cruise because we wanted a holiday cruise out of Baltimore. The bonus was that it stopped in Martinique. My husband and I met at club Med Martinique in 1974! We swore never to return because it could never compete with falling in love in paradise. However, after 43 years, we were ok and looking forward to seeing it again. We rented a car and drove to club med for a day trip. I do ...

It is our home port, only RC and Carnival are available here, And we don't like to fly. We always choose RC. And Lady G is a nice old lady with home feel . Great friendly crew. Good food ( i gained like 8-10 pounds ) Love the spa with sauna and steam room ( free of charge) Not crowded, Always something to do. Love the sea days required to get somewhere nice and warm. It's good for relaxing and ...

We did not expect to have the great vacation that we had on this experience. I would definitely recommend this cruise for other families. Some of the thing we enjoyed on this cruise was, that the boat always had some type of activity for the kids and adults to enjoy. They made me and my family feel as if we were at home. They we very respectful, encouraging to try new things, always very attentive ...

Photos of the ship, ports, dailies, and kid schedules can be seen at: https://www.flickr.com/photos/snjnova/collections/72157662533971337/ A cruise is a cruise is a cruise. But there’s something special about pulling out of your driveway at 10:45 AM and being in your cabin by 1:15 PM. No TSA lines or fighting for a space for your rollaboard in the overhead luggage bins. Just drive 75 ...

I picked this cruise for the following reasons: - Baltimore is a convenient port as we don't have to take flights with heavy luggage - It's the perfect time to go on Caribbean vacation Both embarkation and disembarkation went very well. However there was an issue with this sold out cruise that they changed my stateroom without letting me know in advance. The guest services staff was ...

loved the service, loved the food,(did not use the specialty restaurants) we loved the main dining room and our servers. Dining room service was Fast not Rushed but no waiting for food. The entertainment was varied and live no canned music. Our cabin was very clean and quiet (deck 2 -2125). We chose this cruise because it's a quiet time before the Christmas cruises The price for our Ocean view cabin was also great. Embarkation - RC texted us the day before advising that the ship needed extra cleaning, so they asked us to arrive after noon. That meant that some passengers must have come down with the Norovirus, but there were no reports of this in the news. It didn't bother ...

Have cruised on RCCL many times, mega ships and all their other sizes ships, but Grandeur was a really great experience. First, living in central PA to drive to Baltimore is a snap. The day we got on the ship 12/9 it was snowing and it just added to making this pre-Christmas cruise special. It was fun seeing crew members taking pictures of each other because they had not seen snow. There seems to ...

We just completed our third consecutive cruise on Grandeur of the Seas. We arrived at the cruise port 10:30 AM and boarded 11:15.Although we would have preferred being able to have lunch in the MDR it was fine in the Windjammer. The Muster Drill was indoors due to the fact that it was raining . Rather than going to a Sail Away Party we got ready for dinner . We were seated immediately ...

We wanted to escape winter for a little while and a southern Caribbean cruise seemed like a great idea. We had never been on a cruise and were nervous about starting with a 12-night cruise. We didn't have any trouble with being sea sick and were able to enjoy the cruise enormously. We will definitely cruise with Royal Caribbean again. The ship was Grandeur of the Seas and it was not the ...
