This cruise was so relaxing as no early up shore days and half the time at sea to enjoy the ship and the ocean.
We were the only 2 English people on board (except the entertainment crew) and the rest was friendly Americans. Made some lovely new shipmates on board and kept in touch since returning.
After the cruise we went back to the Bahamas to swim with the pigs, as the ship wasn't on ...
I would not go on Grandeur again if bringing my children. My biggest issue with the kid's club is you have to do the initial paperwork (given for legality purposes) and then each session you have to wait in a LONG line to check-in and check-out your kids. The sessions are from 9-12am, 2-5pm, 7-10pm, and then paid after that time. We allowed our kids to check themselves in and out since they are ...
did 5 night Bermuda last year as first cruise wanted to do a longer cruise and we live in VA and dont want to fly before cruise . worked our great. wish more rccl ships came to Baltimore. traveled with wife and two kids. inside room. last year we had the two bunks and a queen bed and it was pretty tight. this year we had the room configured as two bunks was so so much better . food was great ...
We've been on more than 10 cruises on various cruise lines and this was right at the bottom of every cruise we've ever been on. The ship is old and small. Nothing to do for our 16 and 18 year old boys. The ship had some weird odors throughout. The pool and hot tub ruined our white bathing suits, leaving them and my skin with a green hue. The disembarking for ports of call were ...
The Grandeur is a quaint, comfortable ship with a family like atmosphere. The staff is friendly and welcoming, It does not have all the fancy elaborate things of the new big ships but it is very relaxing, and since it is smaller you can get to know your fellow passengers and make new friends quickly. Bermuda is beautiful and full of things to do, The ports of call are easily navigated and the ...
We chose this trip because the ship left from Baltimore - easy to get to port and no airport needed. The ship needs an update. Our cabin had several mechanical issues. The food and service was great but there were so many upcharges in the dining room and other areas of the ship. The adults only pool was small and the chairs were all taken by 9:15 on sea days. I never remember a ship before where ...
This was our second time on this ship. Smaller but great entertainment and crew. Very attentive crew. Loved this cruise! The food was very good with lots of variety. Entertainment was very good, lots of talented people on the ship staff. Movie selection was good and stuff to do throughout the day. Pool isn't very big but I didn't spend any time in the political so I can't speak to how ...
Embarkation went smoothly & before you knew it we were on board and enjoying the services and scenes. Food services were excellent, even the Windjammer & Park Cafe, the buffet & snack bar. Staff were very friendly and helpful when needed to help with whatever needed doing. Weather was great throughout the trip & the ports of call were great. Shore excursions were plentiful and covered many ...
This cruise was chosen by my mom because she had never been to Bermuda. A group of 18 family and friends accompanied her to celebrate her 80th birthday. The age ranges were from 18 months to 80 years. Aboard the service was efficient and very personal. Every need was met as well as some anticipated needs. The staff and crew were friendly and personable with a great emphasis on customer ...
We wanted to get married on the cruise and it worked out great. We did not have to want for anything while we were there. The entertainment was great. Tanya and Susan were fantastic and such high energy. The dining room with our servers at table 424 could not have been better. They are so friendly and by the second night they new what we wanted without asking. We loved Kings Wharf and Cococay but ...
