Nice but comparable to all other cruise lines we've been on

Food allergy labeling could be more clear. We felt very oversold on all sorts of options for excursions, premium restaurant choices, next cruise sales, to use the casino, etc. In fact, we signed up for a special brunch in the Chops Grille that was to include unlimited lobster tails (which were great), unlimited mimosas (which were also great), and the finest steaks that were to be (according ...

We chose this cruise as it is driving distance from our home. We thought it would be a wind down to the summer before we take a fall cruise. I was amazed as the number of children beings it was a week before school. Seemed to be families including grand parents. First stop Bermuda, not much time there. arriving at 2p.m. and leaving the next day at 3p.m. very hot and humid Nassau ...

Eclipse in Bermuda

We enjoyed a short getaway before school started. The port of Baltimore allows for easy boarding and exiting of the ship. We drove to the port and parked near the cruise terminal. We had ordered glasses for the eclipse and were pleasantly surprised that Royal Caribbean provided glasses. The ship is dated but fairly well maintained. The ship's wifi was pretty poor. If you need to be ...

My husband and choose this cruise because it is not far from Lititz, PA.about an hour and a half. We did spend a night in Baltimore before the cruise. Stayed at the Hyatt Regency, not what we expected, hallway are dirty and so is the pool outdoor, room are not that great either. Will stay home and leave from next time it wasn't worth the money. Baltimore harbor is nice to walk around great places ...

We chose this cruise mainly for the destination. Admittedly I am a novice to the cruising world although have experience on one other cruise with Royal Caribbean. This previous experience was aboard Liberty of the Seas this past January, 2017. As I stated in my most recent review directly to Royal Caribbean I would have rated that (Liberty) experience a 10/10, and, this experience on the ...

Grandeur Blah!

Chose this cruise because of the good price (2 more days and cheaper than Carnival). But, that was a mistake. Food sucked in Windjammer. Prefer Guy Fieri burgers, Mexican buffet, 24 hour made to order pizza, fresh deli, fresh salad bar with lots of choices that Carnival has to offer. Definitely an older, non-fun crowd on Grandeur. Carnival is the FUNship! Septic smell on Grandeur was not ...

I took a 9-day cruise to Bermuda and The Bahamas. The ship, Grandeur of the Seas, was a great ship. Aparently it has been retrofitted with some of the things from the Oasis class ships after the fire, so even though it is the smallest ship in the Royal Caribbean fleet, it was still an excellent cruise. Everything felt new, clean, and fresh. The interior stateroom I had was small, but that was to ...

My husband and I have been on several cruises. We love going out of Baltimore because the arrival and departure are so easy. Parking is a little expensive. The Grandeur is an older ship and show some wear and tear in some areas, like the staterooms. Other areas seem to be updated. This doesn't diminish the cruise experience, however. The ship has a smaller, but not too small, warm feeling. I'm ...

We enjoyed the cruise very much. Food was very good and had many choices. The personnel was very friendly and helpful. Casino was filled with smoke and made it unbearable for a non smoker to stay in there for any period of time. Entertainment was excellent, especially Nexus 4. Ship was clean and very smooth sailing. I would have rather have gone to Hamilton, Bermuda than Kings Wharf. The ...

Fun trip on older but pleasant ship

Went with our daughter and her family (husband and two elementary school boys). Trip was mainly for them, but we very much enjoyed it! The grandchildren loved the pool and the kids club. Hard to get them to leave either. Ship of course is older, but largely in good shape. We like its size, as you don't feel overwhelmed by crowds or get lost easily. One area which could be better (for me at ...
