We chose this cruise to the Baltics with the Royals as we have sailed with them before and chose this part of the world because we had not been before and don t like the weather to be too hot. We had a suite on deck 10 which we were delighted with so quiet and the view from it was amazing - beds were comfortable and had great sleep. Our Cabin attendant was delightful and looked after us all ...
Cruise chosen because of destinations. Dining and entertainment was excellent the variety and performers were top class. The service provided by dining room staff and stateroom attendant was excellent and the food was excellent too. The ship was well maintained, clean with first class hygiene standards. We found the excursion staff not as helpful as I would have expected and one or two were quite ...
We have visited the Baltic before and realised that there is much more to see and do than one cruse can cater for. We were in a Grand Suite on deck 10 which was roomy and clean. The suite attendant was efficient but we would have expected a resupply of fruit on a 12 day cruise. The MDR was a disappointment from the start. The two of us were assigned to a table for ten and no one else showed up! ...
This is the first time for me to travel by cruise, it is an excellent experience. The ship and stateroom are very clean and nice. The stateroom attendant was very efficient and did a good work. The staff on the cruise are very friendly and helpful. Especially the wait persons were very attentive and friendly.
We had couples days in the ships cruising and there were lots of things to do during ...
We wanted to see Europe and the ports that Royal was traveling to. The ship looked great when we were looking to go. The weather I’ve there in the summer was supposed to be amazing. So everything lined up to go on this cruise for a family vacation. We didn’t know they we would run into so many problems with our stateroom. The formal dining was great! I just wished windjammer would change up the ...
Boarding as always with RC very easy and slick.
Great cruise destinations although four port days with the two middle days being St Petersburg was very tiring as we had booked the two day tour of St Petersburg which i0 hours each day. It was also quite crowded at the main attractions, but the world cup was on so that didn't help.
Food and service in the main sapphire dining room was poor we ...
We wanted to visit St Petersburg and considered a number of cruise lines but chose RCI as we thought it was a premium brand. How wrong we were! First the good areas; the “spacious ocean view” cabin and bathroom were very good - probably the best we’ve had on ship or in a hotel for a long time. Very friendly staff even when dealing with the problems below.
However, the overall service ...
Chose this cruise because of the destinations but felt let down by the company's dining experience in the main restaurant. Should have been a fine dining experience but the food was never hot.
Stateroom was roomy and well serviced and staff all very friendly. Windjammer restaurant was great for food in mornings and any time during the day so why can't that be replicated in the main dining room. ...
This was supposed to be really good value, including a full drinks package and all tips.
Not sure that the price we paid was actually that good compared to others.
Evening entertainment was very average - only three shows from the troupe in 12 nights. A Comedian and a Ventriloquist - the 70's called - they want their entertainment back.
Darren Day really?
The 3 tenors style show was ...
This was our third cruise on a Royal Caribbean vessel and as usual everything ran like clockwork. Our embarkation at Southampton was effortless and took less than ten minutes from entering the embarkation hall to being on board the Navigator of the Seas.
Although our cabin was not ready at the time of embarkation as we had arrived early provision was made on board to have a meal in the ...
