Have never traveled this part of the world. A very enriching experience. Realized how much I need to learn about the history, culture of these nations. St. Petersburg, Peterhof -incredible, almost unreal.Every port was unique and beautiful. Interesting how the historical events intertwined and affected the people of all the surrounding nations. Would definitely recommend to anyone interested in ...
We chose this cruise because we have enjoyed Royal Caribbean cruises in the past, especially the kids' program. Our kids are teenagers now and the teen program held less charm for them than in the past. In particular there wasn't a lot aimed at older teens (18 or 19) who may not have felt comfortable in a get-together that included 25+ year olds.
Uniquely good aspects of this cruise were the ...
I liked the ports of call. Transportation at some of the ports was a challenge. We were left in Inverness with no buses leaving for 2 hours. We would have missed the ship sailing if we had not found a cab driver (and they are sparse on Sunday)to take us the 30 minute drive to Invergorden where the ship was docked ($65.00)Upon our arrival at the cruise port of Invergorden we boarded a city bus, ...
Took this ship on a cruise through the British Isles from Amsterdam, a great city to explore before starting a cruise. The ship is a bit old (2002) and had about 2,500 passengers, which we considered to be a good amount of people unlike some of the mega ships that are too big. It did show its age in spots, including the cabins which showed wear. That said, the cabin was clean and bed comfortable. ...
We chose this cruise because of the itinerary. We have been on many cruises in various parts of the world and we found the service on this particular ship to be outstanding. We made reservations for most nights in the main dining room for a table of two during “my time dining” ( if you are traveling as a couple and want to eat alone make sure to do this!) The service was fantastic and the food ...
I always wanted to go to Scandinavia and st.Petersburg.iheard review from other People about the Royal Caribbean ships how wonderful they are.
I had a really wonderful time on the cruise and the food was great!!!
The ship was fabulous and the service in the whole was good. The only thing that was bad was the cabin which I feel was falsely advertised and too small meaning four of us had to ...
By way of background this with my first cruise with Royal Caribbean having previously cruised with P&O and Disney. I am a Brit (relevant as we are never as effusive as our US cousins) and travelling with my Mum on a girls holiday. The trip was 12 nights to the Baltic from Southampton.

I know that Navigator of the Seas is due for a dry dock but generally the ship was in good repair even ...
We chose this cruise to the Baltics with the Royals as we have sailed with them before and chose this part of the world because we had not been before and don t like the weather to be too hot. We had a suite on deck 10 which we were delighted with so quiet and the view from it was amazing - beds were comfortable and had great sleep. Our Cabin attendant was delightful and looked after us all ...
Cruise chosen because of destinations. Dining and entertainment was excellent the variety and performers were top class. The service provided by dining room staff and stateroom attendant was excellent and the food was excellent too. The ship was well maintained, clean with first class hygiene standards. We found the excursion staff not as helpful as I would have expected and one or two were quite ...
We chose this cruise mainly because the ports of call are places which we have not been to yet. Port of embarkation was also a plus since we were able to go around London a few days before the actual cruise.
This was my third time to cruise using Royal Carribean and from the first time I cruised with RCL, I was very impressed. Their food selection in the Windjammer is very wide especially if ...
