Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Symphony of the Seas

We travelled on the Symphony of the seas Feb.15-22,2020 It is a beautiful ship but not much you get for free except your room and some food. Every fine dining is extra dollars , every drink ( pop and alcohol) is extra and any fitness class you want to take is also money, money, money. Would be nice if they at least let all the guests have free wifi so you could message family on the ship. ...

A perfect ship for a SHIP vacation

Booked 16 months in advance to celebrate relocating to Florida and have a vacation on the books that also celebrates what would be the first year of our empty nest. I had sailed the inaugural eastbound TA on Allure of the Seas without my husband, and since then had been just waiting for the right time and opportunity to take him on an Oasis class cruise ship. With our efforts to have a more ...

Good short getaway

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Navigator of the Seas

Our first time taking a four day cruise. We’ve sailed with RCL several times in the past but always seven days (we’ve decided we do like the seven days better). Sailed on the Navigator out of New Orleans several years ago and sure wish it was still sailing from there. First of all we hated the port of Miami (and will never sail from there again). The ports in New Orleans and the amazing port ...

Great, but could have been better

I will start off saying our cruise experience was really good. Overall, our party of 5 (4,25,26,54,55 y/o) all had a blast. We had two rooms and the service at our rooms was really good. Our head waiter (Joey) was great in the dining hall. A little shy, but slowly broke out of his shell. For the food, it left us wanting more. Some items were great! Some, not so much. We got a lot of over cooked ...

We have enjoyed Regent , and Celebrity, but wanted to take 3 young grandchildren who would not like those sort of boats. The Symphony on board activities attracted us, and we could get a suite for all 8 of us, the itinerary was incidental as we wanted to use the rock climbing wall, zipline, hot tubs, pools, table tennis, slides, and see ice show. So my agent persuaded us to go on this ship which ...

Such a big ship

This is a fairly new ship, & since we were travelling with 1st time cruisers, I wanted that for them. The ship dwarfs all others in port. It didn't end up being what I thought it would be in decor, especially the dining rooms. We ate in the American Icon deck 3. It had dark brown paneling, beige walls, and dark brown curtains along the window side. Pictures on the walls were not great. Service was ...

Good Times on the Allure

Lots to say about this cruise: Embarkation: We had The Key and arrived to the port before the doors opened. One door was clearly designated for Key members. We breezed through Security and check-in, then were escorted to the Key waiting area in the terminal. The waiting area was divided into groups for Suites, Pinnacle, Diamond Plus and Diamond members, The Key, then the remaining boarding ...

Should be a 5

Let me start off by saying that if I was only rating the ship, crew and staff, 5 stars wouldn’t be enough. Dwight our cabin steward was amazing, he greeted us warmly every time he saw us, asking how our day was, did we see this, did we try that or did we need anything and if we did need something he would do everything possible to get it. Dwight was a pleasure to meet. The same goes for our MDR ...

Enjoyed, will not book again

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Harmony of the Seas

We booked Harmony two years ago because of the hype. Overall, our trip was ok. The ship is too big and spread out. We missed having every amenity conveniently located throughout, we enjoyed Brilliance so much more. (It took me 5 days to find the froyo on Harmony!) The crowds were a bit much, especially on formal nights. Our balcony stateroom on 10 was nice, but opening the door at all screwed up ...

Beautiful ship, phenomenal crew

Family cruise, 1st cruise for 5yrs old granddaughter. Connecting central park balcony cabins made cruising together extra easy and fun EXCEPT bad design for pool overflow drainage pipe runs just outside cabin and can be heard during slightly rougher weather when it's not rough enough to drain pool, even several decks down from the pool. Crew is phenomenal except for overworked mdr staff, in ...
