Good for a non cruiser; Bad for someone that knows what they used to be

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Harmony of the Seas

It was very obvious that Royal Caribbean has cut costs on a lot of stuff. I am not sure if it was just this ship (should be the best since it was the most expensive) Or if Royal Caribbean just cut costs everywhere. Food quality was not good and was the same almost every night, Cleanliness of staterooms and ship where bad, Not kept up with maintenance, Hallways smelt like mold, Feces on my toilet ...

Not worth the money to go on this trip. Food and service in main dining was the only great areas. Not enough programs for amount of guest, dirty pool because of not enough crew cleaning all the drinks, elevators were a joke multiple empty ones would pass to have a full one stop. They just have to many guest and not enough crew. If you wanted to get somewhere leave a half hour early so you could ...

Let me start by saying that my mother decided she wanted to go on the largest cruise ship in the world. It did not live up to the hype. One of the biggest disappointments was the food available on the ship. Dining room food was pretty awful. On the past 3 cruises with Royal Caribbean the food was very good. They really missed the mark this time. We did the “my time dining” which was a nice ...

Not a Perfect Day

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Navigator of the Seas

Chose this cruise for wanting to celebrate my husband's birthday on a cruise, enjoy the longest water slide (was fun despite long wait on hot deck material with bare feet) and spend the day on CocoCay. Yes, the storm, Dorian, closed CocoCay and we understand since we live in Florida. But, the quality of the staff, enforcement of expected passenger behavior and rules totally lacked on this cruise. ...

Summary Pros: *Wonderful kids camp - ages 3 to 11 are all together and my kids said it was the best Adventure Ocean camp they’ve been to *El Loco Fresh Taco Station - food was good and they had enough ready items that you can grab something *For the size of the ship, pool options were good *Fun and attentive staff at Windjammer (if you can find a table to eat at) *Cool guy ...

Disappointed in the Symphony of the Seas

I chose this ship for a family cruise (10 people) because I had been on other Royal Caribbean ships. The door to the handicapped accessible cabin was automatic if you were able to put your key card over the reader an turn the handle. In order to exit the room I was told to push a mechanism over the door. This was an impossibility while seated on a scooter n On other Royal. Caribbean ships I ...

Money sink hole

We chose this cruise for our honeymoon as it came highly recommended. Unfortunately we were ver disappointed with our experience. Day 1 - we were not let into our rooms till after 1pmm this left many passengers holding onto hand luggage meaning activity options were limited. None of the bars had menus out and the staff were only intrested in selling the drink packages rather than ...

Not worth the money

I have been on a total of 5 cruises, this was my 2nd time on Royal Caribbean. This was by far the worst experience I have had. There are those experiences you look forward to once you finally make it on the ship. You hear people talk about the giant party at the beginning as you sail away from the dock. You can't wait to see it for yourself, well my family and I where all ready for the sail ...

What a disappointment; Never again

This was not our first cruise so we have had some experience to compare it to. First let me say I was highly disappointed when they informed us we would NOT be going to St. Thomas island because one of the "pods" had a bearing that may be going bad. Really? That was just the start and the only thing that was preventing this review was the fact that I did not know how to capture soooooo many ...

Cruised with 27 others. Had family, friends and Niece and Nephew 17&18. HOTS june 2019. We all felt the free food was excellent except for Solarium poor service & food. I reserved two times for free dinner every night, Solarium 6pm and then also My Time Dining 8:30 since we had no idea of show times & did not want to miss since dinner service is alloted 2 HOURS every night. The room attendants and ...
