Our family of 4 chose this cruise since the MOTS was recently renovated and the itinerary lined up well with school vacation.
I thought that the Coco Cay pier would be complete by our cruise date since it is not guaranteed that the tenders can operate if too windy. At the time of cruise booking, the pier was scheduled to be complete at end of 2018. My fears were realized when captain decided ...
We are experienced cruisers but have not been on Royal Caribbean for many years. Things have changed. We were greeted to over 1000 children as we tried to eat lunch on day one. I expected Walt Disney to arrive at any moment. We just didn’t expect that so many children would be on a cruise during school days and were not told to expect.
Had a nice table by the window for dining however after the ...
We are a family of 3-mother in her 50's and 2 adult daughters in their 20's. This was our 17th cruise-I believe our 4th on RC. Overall the Allure was the best vessel we have sailed on. It has a magnificent design with lots of light and interesting open areas. Our favorite locale was Central Park on deck 8. That being said, our experience on this ship was average. Most staff interactions were ...
We booked this cruise because we wanted a large ship with a lot of port days. We were very happy with our decision. We booked an inside cabin on deck 11. It was a great location because we were almost always able to use the stairs. The cabin was very quiet and served our needs since we were only in there to sleep. We spent most of our time on deck 15 and deck 5. We loved the Solarium ...
The Allure of the Seas is unreal! I traveled with a group of 31 ladies and had an absolute blast. This ship’s size is mind-blowing, and the amenities, service, and activities were top notch! Although we weren’t able to take advantage of all the dining & bar options, we were very pleased with the food & drinks where we did. We thoroughly enjoyed the shows on board, particularly the OceanAria show ...
This was my second sailing on this ship. I was on the first revenue sailing out of Miami in November. That was a great experience with my husband, relaxing and enjoyed specialty dining. The February sailing was with my daughter for her school vacation. So, yes the shipped was packed with kids, but I knew this was how it would be. If couples are looking for a relaxing enjoyable sailing avoid the ...
After sailing on the Allure 7 years ago we thought we would try the Symphony. The new cruise terminal was great as was embarkation and debarkation. Got to terminal at 10:45 and was on the ship at 11:05 and went down to Park Café for lunch which turned out to be our favorite for breakfast and lunch. We loved the room with the larger balcony which seemed longer and had the bed by the window a first ...
My family and I have just returned from a seven night cruise on Symphony, and we loved it! The ship is absolutely gorgeous, and the crew does a really great job keeping her spotless at all times. RC does an excellent job with sanitation, with hand sanitizer dispensers everywhere, and motion sensors to open all of the doors.
We had cruised on Harmony in the past, and were much more impressed ...
We wanted to see what the biggest ship in the world would be like. We could not believe the speed at which we were able to get on and off the ship. I mean how do they do it. From the time we got out of our taxi, we were in our room in less than 15 minutes. We chose early disembarkation and although the line was long, it moved very quickly.
We stayed in an inside cabin which was the largest of ...
Summary: Like the title suggests this is a resort at sea. The ship is more interesting than the ports, so shore excursions and visits are an option. Newer, bigger and packed with more things than her sister ships - Symphony is phenomenal. If you don't like crowds - don't follow the crowd. We found quiet spots and not so crowded venues simply by not following the crowd.
Having said that - ...
