Unprepared, rude and disappointing process to even reach the ship

This was our group of 6's first cruise and we were excited to get things underway. We booked flights with Air2Sea with the guarantee that there would be alternate flights available if there were any delays during our layovers. Lo and behold, we experienced a delay. When we got to the next airport station, we were told there were ZERO alternate flights available. We missed the cruise. Although ...

LIES and BED BUGS on the ALLURE of the SEAS ROYAL CARIBBEAN

This cruise was a honeymoon gift from my in-laws. The first issue we had was with my husband's luggage. The airport temporarily lost his suitcase, but then notified us that it was still in the airport. We had already embarked early and had several more hours before departure. My husband went to the customer service desk and offered to just get a taxi and get the luggage himself. The lady at ...

The service at dinner was great. And the visit to Magen’s bay was fantastic. Other than that, the weather was quite unpredictable, coco cay was not perfect, all excursions cancelled because of stormy weather, we were able to enjoy part of the day. Be warned that you cannot do lap swim on the ship, the pool is very small, crowded and dirty. Jacuzzi was good. They put the smoking section near ...

A nightmare trip

My trip with Royal Caribbean was a nightmare. The food was nasty and mediocre. Breakfast and dinner were terrible. Service at the cavin was terrible too. There's no shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom. This will be the last time I waste my money on Royal Caribbean. In the whole week I never see the captain he never show up this is very discourteous. Prices at the ice-cream parlor were ...

We cruised, not impressed. 17 family members total. Two parents, four (42-36yr old siblings), eleven (1-17r) of those offspring. I’m not and will never be impressed with the noise levels at night in the rooms. Disco night was the first night and we could clearly hear all words to the music played, it played well past 11:30 pm. We asked to please lower the volume multiple times, with no success. At ...

THE GOOD, THE BAD, THE UGLY

GREAT ENTERTAINMENT, BAD SERVICE AND MEDIOCRE FOOD THE BAD RC has gone to new depths to encourage you to spend money. There is no comfortable seating anywhere in the ship, including your cabin, except in the bars. There is no place to sit and read a book. Indeed, there is no library on board. The only half decent food is in the specialty restaurants. So if you do plan to go, despite my ...

DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Mariner of the Seas

I paid 17k for the two bedroom family suite and received the most horrible service I have ever received on a cruise ship. We are frequent cruisers (over 120 days at sea) but this was our first and only Royal Caribbean. Embarkation went smoothly. It was nice to be met and checked in by someone with an Ipad but i am not fond of having to wait till my room is ready to get my cabin key. This ...

Up charge, deafening, reservations required

This was my 9th and LAST RC cruise. It started with the most disorganized safety breifing and got worse fron there. The VOLUME of music is intended to cause hearing loss. Not just the venues, the music playing around the ship. The pool deck is so loud you cant hear someone speak directly in your ear. There are NO quiet places to smoke and only one quiet place without A/C to play games. ...

Disorganized chaos ship. Bad service and setup

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Symphony of the Seas

This ship is big but not wholesome. They have no clear directions for what is happening when. It takes multiple attempts to reserve a special dining room because you have to walk to the dining room to reserve it and those dining room staff are not available 24x7. Why can you just reserve online or at guess services? Everything that is an event show or plain dinner on the ship has a waiting ...

Worse cruise I ever been on and forget it if you have kids

Having been a fan of royal and it’s sister ships - this was a huge disappointment. I chose this ship that was suppose to have a dreamworks program catered to little kids. After paying in full I was told the program was canceled and nothing would be replaced. I paid 500 dollars for an almost 2 year old to sit a one mini splash pool. The best part is kids wake up early and the pool doesn’t open ...
