We did the three night out of Canaveral and had a great time. We did the same cruise 6 weeks ago in September and this one did not disappoint. The crew is phenomenal and the best part of the cruise by far. This time we decided not to eat in the main dining room and not to leave the ship. We did not miss anything in the Nassau since we've been there so many times. And from what we heard from other ...
I live by the adage any cruise is better than none and nothing beats a transatlantic. I cruise with my best friend on a 15 night transatlantic on Vision. Vision is an older ship and small.
Our flight booked through ChoiceAir was great and we were met immediately after getting our bags by RCCL representatives. We did have a wait for the shuttle to ship but that was expected due to our early ...
Like others, we were also NOT "WOWed" by this cruise.Embarkation was the high point of the trip! Once on-board, the front-line service personnel (from waiters to bar tenders to cabin stewards) were very nice & seemed quite hard working. However, I don't think upper management was paying attention. Often there seemed to be insufficient wait staff, bar tenders, etc., for the number of passengers. As ...
Ok, Here goes, this was my 4th cruise, been on Freedom of the Seas (Royal), Spirit (Norwegian), Pride (Carnival) and this one....Im going to be descriptive so YOU know what to expect, no biases. This was not a bad cruise, but for some of you, it wont be for you. If this is your FIRST cruise, or if you are a young couple, I do not particularly recommend this particular ship. Its a nice little ...
We've been on 12 cruises now, all with RCL.. from the oldest ships (sovereign of the seas), and recently we were excited to check out Oasis of the seas, just to say to everyone else.. "we're sailing on the biggest cruise ship in the world!)..
We're going to stick with the slightly smaller ships in the future.. the Oasis class is designed to focus your attention on the inner-core of the ship, ...
When I saw this short cruise on Oasis of the Seas, I jumped at the chance to see this class of ship for myself. I wasn't willing to pay what a 7 nighter is demanding, but the ship was chartered for 3 days prior to this cruise leaving RCI with days left in the week to fill. So they offered up a 3 day cruise, and I booked it.
I couldn't talk my husband into going as he is busy this time of ...
We celebrated our 11 year anniversary with a cruise to the Bahamas aboard the Enchantment of the Seas. We are both in our mid-30s and enjoyed most of our time aboard the ship and off. We were meant to hit Coco Cay on the first day, but weather did not permit so we traveled straight to Nassau. However, the captain attempted Coco Cay on the way back and the winds were low enough that we could ...
RCCL Silver member...been on a few and this wasn't my favorite by far.
Drop off and embarkation at Port Canaveral were quick and organized. Nice cruise terminal!
Once on board we had lunch in the Solarium very nice and quite. Food is Okay nothing great. Better than the Windjammer.
Our room was an outside cabin on deck 3 towards the front of the ship I recommend the location it's ...
My husband and I just returned from a 4 night cruise on board Enchantment of the Seas which sailed from Port Canaveral on Labor Day. Embarkation was extremely simple. Upon entering the terminal area, my husband and I were asked what our member status and were sent to the "gold" level check in line which was much shorter than the regular line. Within 20 minutes of entering the terminal, we were ...
I must say right off the bat...This ship does not allow IRONS!!! Big negative!! Why??? Because they want to charge you to iron your clothes..of course!! They will take the Iron from you and hold on to it till you return from your trip like they did to me. When I returned, there must have been about 15 irons that people forgot about and just went home! BTW: I was practically the last family ...
