Nice little short cruise

Review for a Asia Cruise on Spectrum of the Seas

We took this 4 night cruise prior to another cruise just to go to Phuket. The staff was wonderful and the ship was in good repair. The food was average but nothing spectacular. On our last few RC cruises we have been disappointed with food not being hot/cold. There is not an indoor bar with a view outside. Being in Asia 90 degrees & 80% humidity that is an issue. My biggest ...

This was one 1st cruise traveling with elderly on wheelchair, and It was great and wonderfully short cruise :- 1. RC - Spectrum of the Sea was sizeable and with great facilities and common areas for all ages. 2. We were traveling with elderly on wheelchair and we have no issues moving around with priority access given too. 3. Main dining Supervisor, Waiter and assistant waiter were very ...

Well appointed ship with many, many activities

The Spectrum of the Seas is a very large ship with many activities for families and people who want to experience onboard activities. Although my husband and I are in neither of those categories we enjoyed the cruise and particularly the quieter areas of the ship set aside for suite guests. Our junior suite was a good size and in very good condition. The food was good quality and the staff were ...

A Christmas Cruise to Remember (but not all positive)

We were scheduled to cruise on Spectrum before the Pandemic, it was of course cancelled so this was our first cruise after reopening of the industry. We were lucky to book the Christmas cruise, we were 24 in our group, including toddlers, teenagers up to Senior Citizens. One Senior in our group had a knee accident a few days before the cruise, so we had to bring a wheelchair with us. ...

My wife and I originally planned a cruise which started in Japan and culminated in Singapore back in April of 2020. COVID shut down the industry, when reopened we decided to incorporate a shorter voyage of 4 days with a visit to Singapore in December of 2022. This was our first overseas vacation after COVID the start of COVID, our 19th overall cruise and second on Royal Caribbean. We previously ...

We had a chance for a last minute cruise from Port Canaveral in December. After Hurricane Ian, it was nice to get away. This ship is amazing! What an amazing family ship this is, made us want to bring our grandchildren!!! There is so much to see and do, you can walk the Boardwalk, pool area is extensive and if you are up by the pool and need to get to a lower deck - jump into the Abyss and ...

First time on the spectrum sailing from Singapore, previously had sailed on Quantum a couple of times so this review will use that as a benchmark. General: - The ship is pretty new and it was obvious. The condition of the furnishing and decor was great and the cabins felt very new. - I had the surf and stream wifi package, it was good for the most part although it went down for around ...

Staycation Cruise from Hong Kong

Review for a Asia Cruise on Spectrum of the Seas

The actual itinerary was a 3 night round trip from Hong Kong with no stops. We understand most of the passengers were Hong Kong residents with 90% of the passengers being Asian. Having completed all the prerequisite Covid19 requirements made the boarding quick and easy. This was probably helped by there being only 1100 passengers on board. Checked bag where at our room in less than 2 hours. ...

An interesting onboard experience

We cruised on the Spectrum on three consecutive itineraries: January 2, 9 and 14, 2020. Boarding in Hong Kong was well organized. Each subsequent voyage was well orchestrated for back to back passengers. We would leave and return to the ship through the crew line so we didn’t have to line up with the boarding passengers. Each voyage was different due to the numbers of non-mainland Chinese ...

New year holiday

Review for a Asia Cruise on Quantum of the Seas

We chose this cruise to see what it would be like to holiday at the new year and as it was a very good itinerary we really looked forward to it. The ship itself was very good, exceptionally clean with friendly staff. Food was very repetitive in the main dining room, although the speciality restaurants were really good we bought a 3night dining package and were glad we had. We really enjoyed ...
