We were scheduled to cruise on Spectrum before the Pandemic, it was of course cancelled so this was our first cruise after reopening of the industry. We were lucky to book the Christmas cruise, we were 24 in our group, including toddlers, teenagers up to Senior Citizens. One Senior in our group had a knee accident a few days before the cruise, so we had to bring a wheelchair with us. ...
Wonder is an amazing ship! To start we arrived one hour early to board (10:30). They allowed us to board and the entire process took maybe 10 minutes. Very organized.
Once on board, we walked around to see the ship and WOW it is magnificent! We had a quick lunch at Windjammer before it got too busy. Food was pretty good.
Cabin: We booked an ocean view balcony. We loved the massive TV! ...
We purchased the Intimate dinning package but due to your malfunctioning app where unable to book dinning or shows.
I went to guest services for help and they sent me to a dinning stand who then then told me the Dinning was all booked and I had to go to each to try to book. Wasted hours running around the ship.
We went to Hooked Seafood and I got food poisoning and had to go to medical (who ...
My wife and I originally planned a cruise which started in Japan and culminated in Singapore back in April of 2020. COVID shut down the industry, when reopened we decided to incorporate a shorter voyage of 4 days with a visit to Singapore in December of 2022. This was our first overseas vacation after COVID the start of COVID, our 19th overall cruise and second on Royal Caribbean. We previously ...
We had a chance for a last minute cruise from Port Canaveral in December. After Hurricane Ian, it was nice to get away. This ship is amazing!
What an amazing family ship this is, made us want to bring our grandchildren!!! There is so much to see and do, you can walk the Boardwalk, pool area is extensive and if you are up by the pool and need to get to a lower deck - jump into the Abyss and ...
After previous plans to celebrate our 40th Anniversary fell through, this cruise fitted the time frame. We wanted something special so booked a Junior Suite. It turned to a nightmare when our booking was canceled a day later (no one explained how) and there were no other suites available. Thankfully our travel agent and RCI helped us snatch a Golden Junior Suite when it became available later that ...
Well, we just got off Wonder for the Thanksgiving Cruise. 7-Night Eastern Caribbean out of Port Canaveral (I don’t know why it shows the Asian itinerary at the top???) I will give you my absolute honest review. I was told there were 6700 passengers on board. 6700!!! So, knowing that number would probably push her limits, my expectations were already curbed considerably.
First, the good:
She ...
Our family (My, Husband, 13 yo son) was excited to try the new Wonder of the Seas for our Thanksgiving cruise. We are platinum on Royal, but have never cruised on an Oasis class ship before and were excited to try all of the new offerings. Although we had some good moments, overall the ship felt way too crowded. We will probably not sail on a ship this size again. I will give the good and the ...
We loved this ship, although it is geared to the Asian market we really enjoyed it.
The facilities are excellent and the decor is very tasteful. The buffet had a very good selection with food of a high standard. The main dining room and service were also very good. Our balcony cabin was tastefully furnished with an excellent layout for storage and space. The crew were professional, ...
I chose this cruise to celebrate our (hubby & I ) 10 yr anniversary and I thought it'd be fun to celebrate on the newest & largest ship. I've sailed several times on Royal, each time on the newest and/or largest ship. Of all my cruises, this was the most disappointing. The service (cabin steward, waiters, & guest services) was 5+ star. The food, however, was not good. Based on my past cruises, I ...
