First Family Vacation That Felt Like a Vacation!

In short, I had a blast with my wife and two kids (1yo & 3yo). We are a bit bummed that next year Anthem will be elsewhere. We had a good enough time to book another cruise on RC next summer. Embarkation: As expected, everything RC controlled went unbelievably smooth. The only hiccup was that there were extreme delays with releasing the previous cruise from the parking terminal in Bayonne. ...

First cruise since COVID, and second time on Anthem. Embarkation was so smooth and took the most of 5 minutes inside before walking onto the cruise ship. I really like how you can do most of the check-in online through the APP. Let me say the APP is one of the best. Food I enjoyed the food throughout the ship -- buffet, main dining room, doghouse, cafe 270, sorrento's and cafe promenade. ...

Very smooth boarding procedures, the food was great, the shows were good as well, a lot of activities that made the sea days very fun! My family had a great time onboard. Also not sure if the ship was at full capacity or not but we feel except waiting time on the elevators, all other lines were pretty reasonable. The best thing is the APP, we could check, book or cancel nearly everything on it ...

This was out second time on the Anthem out of Cape Liberty (Bayonne for us locals) doing the 7 day with Cococay. The first time was during Covid, so the ship was at a much lower capacity then and many shows, etc were cancelled or reduced. This trip was the full experience -- the ship was full We are now Diamond+ and have sailed nearly all classes of ships on Royal, as well as most classes ...

This was my first experience cruising (45-year-old female) and I would recommend! I had a single person cabin with a balcony on the sixth floor. My room was very nice and I love they had an affordable balcony option for a solo traveler. I really enjoyed dinner each night in the main room. This is included in the cost of the cruise I recommend the early 5 pm reservation for no waiting. I ...

This was our 18th cruise on many different lines (Carnival, Celebrity, Cunard, Holland America, NCL and Princess) and we wanted to try a bigger class ship on Royal. We flew from Ottawa, Ontario to Newark airport the day before the cruise and stayed at a nice B&B in Staten Island. Took the ferry back and forth to Manhattan to see the sights which never gets old! Embarkation –This was the ...

To celebrate our 45th Anniversary we chose a cruise to the Caribbean. Having previously sealed on RCLs’ Allure and Oasis we knew this ship, the Anthem, didn’t have all the bells and whistles of those ship, but it fit into our schedule, we booked it. Originally scheduled to stop in Port Canaveral, Nassau and Coco Cay because of engine problems the ship skipped Nassau. As promised RCL, surprisingly ...

I Always Have A Very Good Experience On This Ship!

I go a long way back with this cruise ship, and I still sail annually on this one. From a troubling experience during their second sailing, to a consistent very good one for all my sailings going forward. Checked in at 10AM and didn't board until 10:20AM. Muster station check-in was flawless. When I inquired about getting a personal table, that got resolved without issue since I was a Diamond ...

This was my second time on Anthem, and I loved it just as much as the first. We did have a hiccup with the seating at dinner, however. We had requested a table by the window in our initial reservation, and it didn't get resolved until the third night of the cruise. It was specifically stated in our reservation that we wanted a table near the window, how hard is that to accommodate? We did ...
