Great Cruise...With a Few Hiccups
"Long story short: Anthem of the Seas is an excellent ship with friendly staff, clean accommodations, good entertainment, and many dining options. Our cabin steward Niraj (may be misspelled) was great, though we barely saw him since he was so good at anticipating when we had left the room to come quickly make up our cabin...."Read More

I Always Have A Very Good Experience On This Ship!

I go a long way back with this cruise ship, and I still sail annually on this one. From a troubling experience during their second sailing, to a consistent very good one for all my sailings going forward. Checked in at 10AM and didn't board until 10:20AM. Muster station check-in was flawless. When I inquired about getting a personal table, that got resolved without issue since I was a Diamond ...

Our family of 5 cruised on Anthem of The Seas because the ship had so much to offer and we were not disappointed. Our family includes two 55 y.o. and a 25, 23 and 21 year old. We all had a great time. The entertainment was the best, we were never lacking in things to do. On the last 2 days we hit some rough seas but the entertainment never stopped and we kept busy attending all the offerings! ...

Awesome Second Cruise On Anthem

This was my second time on Anthem, and I loved it just as much as the first. We did have a hiccup with the seating at dinner, however. We had requested a table by the window in our initial reservation, and it didn't get resolved until the third night of the cruise. It was specifically stated in our reservation that we wanted a table near the window, how hard is that to accommodate? We did ...

My husband and I sailed on the Anthem of the Seas on the February 12, 2023 sailing. We have sailed the Anthem before, as well as other Royal ships. This trip just didn't quite live up to the others. POSITIVES: Port check-in was seamless. Our Stateroom Attendant, Harold, was pleasant and did a very nice job keeping our stateroom stocked and cleaned. We absolutely LOVED the Las Vegas ...

My DW and I cruise out of Cape Liberty the majority of the time because of the ease in getting to the port. We have had a couple of cruises cancelled due to Covid, so this was our first cruise since our Celebrity Equinox sailing three years ago. We love the Anthem, having sailed her four times before. We come from the Catskill mountains, and use Yankee Trails Cruise Express. From the time we meet ...

4th Time on the Anthem -- Still Fabulous!

Background Information: This was cruise #40 for me, and the fourth rime on the Anthem (and third this year). I sailed with my husband and 28-year-old daughter. We booked this cruise soon after we got back from our May 2022 Transatlantic cruise, which we adored. We had made friends with so many crew members on that voyage, and were happy to meet so many of them again. Travel To Port of ...

Long story short: Anthem of the Seas is an excellent ship with friendly staff, clean accommodations, good entertainment, and many dining options. It has a number of fun features and activities onboard, which makes it great for both individuals and families. On the flip side, the food quality was very hit-or-miss depending on the venue (further details below). Additionally, this is NOT the ship for ...

RC offered a great deal starting off, that's why we chose this line. We have sailed 3 other cruise lines prior to this and had great experiences. Embarkation went smoothly. There was no difference checking in ahead of time, as opposed to checking in when you get to port. 2 members of our party chose to check in at the port, and their check in was just as fast. There was no benefit to early ...

To begin with, the cruise director said on Day 1 that the ship had reached a record in guest compliment, over 4700 guests and over 1300 children. You'd expect this to make the ship congested, but for the most part, it wasn't. There was such breadth of concurrent activities, that wherever you go, there's always room. Adventure Ocean and the Seaplex seemed to work miracles in keeping children and ...
