Enjoyable Baltic cruise

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Brilliance of the Seas

Ports were excellent.. Very friendly staff. If you like an adults only pool, they have a solarium for adults and free access to showers, sauna and steam room ( you have to pay on the big ships). Shore excursions from RCCL were best in Russia. Used another tour company in Estonia and only had 6 which was great compared to the 30 who were on the one offered by RCCL. Also no audio devices given on ...

Royal Caribbean used to be a top cruise line...no longer...this cruise has been Carnivalised...no lobester night unless you pay extra...movies in your room? Only if you want to pay $13.00 a movie, not first run...Happy hour on drinks? On a twelve day cruise... two hapy hours for only two hours and only on two kinds if drinks...too bad... the staff was great but the lines seem to go out of the way ...

I chose this cruise to see Europe the staff was so friendly. Everyone knew who you were and the entertainment staff was just amazing. The ports of call were so different from the us and Beautiful. The cabins were a good size for a family of three. The restaurants had a good variety of food and the Windjammer Café had a great buffet style to it. They had a awesome variety of activities to do on ...

Would've been a dream cruise if not for fixable mistakes.

We chose to disembark from amsterdam because its inexpensive to fly there from most places in the world, and amsterdam itself is such a beautiful city to visit. the crew staff in general are extremely helpful and friendly, it really gave a good general feeling to chit chat and have a good relationship with the crew members. The only unfriendly ones are security staff, they have obviously not ...

Terrible

I chose this boat for the itinerary to the British isles. Firstly there is worker that is in charge of entertainment. he was part of the entertainment at night. He was very rude condescending attitude and looked down on you when u asked for help. I don’t understand why would royal hire a terrible person like him. The entertainment was very boring and it was quite a boring ship The food ...

We chose this cruise because of the itinerary. Ports of Call that we never visited before. Amsterdam, Netherlands, Skagen and Copenhagen in Denmark, Helsinki, Finland, Stockholm, Sweden, Tallinn, Estonia and Saint Petersburg, Russia. All great cities to explore. We did our own self-guided walking tours in each port except for Saint Petersburg where we booked a two-day grand tour with Alla Tours. ...

12 Night Baltic on Brillance of the Seas

The cruise overall was fantastic. We went on a 12 night cruise to Denmark, Estonia, Russia, Finland and Sweden. The ship was great. It was clean and well kept. My husband and I chose a balcony room. Our room attendant Abdul was the best we have had in all of our cruises and we are well over 20+ cruises. The balcony is especially important when sailing though Sweden, the country has thousands ...

We chose this cruise because of the ports we would visit , especially St Petersburg . Having read a lot of reviews on the Brilliance of the Seas , I wasn't sure what to expect but we were so pleased with the entire trip . We travelled with our daughter & son in law and everyone had a great time ! Our embarkation & disembarkation went very smoothly with no problems . I like how they are ...

Not so Brilliant

We had good experiences with Royal C. in the past, so when we wanted to see the Scandinavian countries and St.Petersburg we chose them. But the ship was kind of old and small compared to ones we had in the USA with less space and less amenities and services. Shows and food were just a little above average. Excursions were costly and not well organized. In one of them ( Stockholm) we ...

Nice destinations on an average ship

We chose this cruise because of the cities we were going to visit, but expected a lot more in on board overall quality and itinerary. Getting in the cruise is as easy as it gets. Getting off is another story. Check out is not a very nice experience and I recommend you thoroughly check your account. Excessive charges are to be expected. Cabins are nice and room service is really good. Dinning ...
