Patti Labelle performed on this President's cruise aboard the Allure Of The Seas. This was cruise #30 or so for us & it was really great. Patti's performance was amazing. At 72 her voice is 100% & the audience loved it. The ship had so many events, you could never be bored. Ocean Airia was incredible, Blue Planet was visually stunning & the staff on this ship is top notched. If I had 1 suggestion, ...

Embarkation was fine, although next time I'll need a wheelchair to embark, it was way too much walking. The cabin was too small for the scooter I rented, but Chris, our steward, found us a parking outside, he was amazing! This cruise was the best I've been on. Take cabin was far from the elevators but it was in the back close to everything, since it's all in the back. The service was excellent, ...

6-10 Cruises

We booked a cruise on the Allure for our 30th anniversary. Typically cruise the Freedom Class ships on RC but wanted to do something different. We thought it would be crowded and full of kids, but pleasantly surprised at the open areas and lack of lines for things (to include elevators:) We had a ocean balcony room which was smaller than the Oceanview balcony on the Freedom class but well ...

2-5 Cruises

Age 40s

I would like to start with stating my wife and I are in our 30's and have been on five cruises, with four of them being Royal Caribbean. Our cruise on Allure of the Seas was our worst experience with cruising. The ship is huge and you loose the cruising feel. Unlike other ships, this ship has the most balcony rooms, but you scarifies any type of view from within the common area of the ship. Sure ...

First Time Cruiser

Age 50s

Ok so it was my fiance and my first cruise experience. The boat was really big and it was nice to have the central boardwalks. The food was ok. Portions were small at the formal dining. The buffet was better but none of food was impressive except for the restaurants that you had to pay extra for. Seems like they did that on purpose. My biggest irritation on the cruise was having to listen to a ...

10+ Cruises

Age 80s

I have cruised about 50 times in the last 25 years. This one, on the Allure for 7 days was to celebrate a special anniversary accompanied by my children ( in their 50's) and grandchildren (teens and twenties). We took 6 cabins. Some of us drove to Port Everglades and some flew in to FLL. The plane was very late and 7 almost missed the boat. The port people were very nice and held check-in open ...

My husband and I booked this cruise with 2 other couples about a year in advance so to say the least, we were very anxious... Some backround information on us: We are in our mid 20's and LOVE cruising! it's how we spent our first vaction together and even our honeymoon. Living in Florida helps make it very affordable. The two other couples we went with feel the same way. Our idea of a great ...

It's hard to know where to begin, so let me just start from the beginning. We are seasoned Cruisers, have been Cruising with various Cruise lines for the past 20 years. My first Cruise was as a child of 17 with my immediate family of 4. As we aged, spouses came along, then came grandkids. At present we are a group of 11. Myself, my husband and three children ages 12, 10 and 7, my sister and ...

We just got back from a 7 day cruise. Overall it was a good cruise, although I'm not sure that I'd want to go on this ship again. I went with my husband and 3 year old son as well as my parents, in-laws, and aunt and uncle. My 3 year old son is autistic (high functioning) so that did affect our experience as he is on a special diet and affected our willingness to leave him at the children's ...
