The sheets had holes!
The curtains were stained!
The food gave me food poisoning!
Extremely understaffed!
I asked for a refund on my gratuities and they confirmed on board that I would. I have been on the phone with them for a full hour and all they could say is “Sorry no, we already paid the workers.” This would be an improper charge if they said they would give me a refund but ...
We thought it was a simple and easy getaway from Vancouver. Down the coast to Santa Barbara, CA then to San Diego and home from LA. The Food was so poor in quality, temperature, and presentation. From overcooked salmon, and cooled escargot to rotten lettuce, tomato and cucumbers. Just to name a few things. The app system went down three things. Internet is overpriced at $28 CDN a day. All the ...
Oct. Sept. 29th, my husband and I boarded the Ovation out of Vancouver and ending in Sydney Australia. It started out badly as it took over 1.5 hours to get on due to the long queue in Security. The worst part of our cruise was the food. From the menu in the dining room to the choices in the Windjammer. What was available in the Windjammer was below average for taste and variety and those were ...
After months on the internet and days and hours on the phone with customer service could only reserve two shore excursions for the entire trip. We finally just gave up.
Seniors beware, if you have hip, knee or back issues, not handicapped, you will have problems finding a seat in a public area to relax or read a book. There are thousands of lounge chairs about 1 foot off the ground but very ...
As the saying goes the devil is in the details. Royal Caribbean is advertising misleading amenities aboard this ship and offering a poorly managed valet luggage service for debarkation that leaves you with a poor post cruise impression on an otherwise good experience. We took an amazing 7-day Alaska cruise on Ovation of the Seas with 11 people (family and friends). We had an excellent time on ...
I am very very disappointed with the cruise to glacier Alaska , I only bought this cruise to see the glacier and we could not see ANYTHING.. All that I see was beautiful mountains that I see constantly because I live in Canada and we are surrounded by it , I was very excited for this cruise only to see the glacier that the pictures when we go to the royal Caribbean’s page to buy it shows .. the ...
my wife and I went on a Alaska cruise on the Quantum of the Seas on 5/9/22. We have cruised with Royal Caribbean once before with my family. We loved the cruise so we were looking forward to just me and my wife going alone. We usually travel in a group. This cruise was a night mare compared to the last one. To start of we were told to be at the pier at 1:00 to 1:15 no earlier or later. We got ...
So I wanted to write this review because I hate to pay good money for a vacation and get treated so poorly. We sailed (Group of 10) on the ovation to Alaska. There were a large number of issues that I have never had to deal with.
- Toilet paper was provided on day 3.
- Bars were low on liquor (there were multiple bars that just didn't have certain drinks.)
-The SPA was not ready to ...
The trip from the beginning had many problems, and the problems as follow:
1. We finely got to the ship, and we waited in line over 3 ½ hour to get register to get in the ship they only asked for my passport they did not ask for a vaccine card or better yet my COVID test. When I asked if they wanted to see it the person replied if you are vaccinated you do not need a COVID test. I am a ...
This was a family cruise to Alaska to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. There were seven family members on this cruise. The positive aspects of the cruise were the condition of the ship which was very good and clean along with the friendliness of the staff particularly the cabin attendant.
Now for the reasons why I only gave this cruise a one-star rating. We had booked our shore ...
