Royal Caribbean's pricing for the cruises are about on par with most other cruise lines, yet at the end of the day you'll spend more for less with Royal Caribbean.

We booked this cruise because of the recent upgrades on it and the number of ship-board activities for our children. The ship is nicely finished and does have quite a few things to do on board for people of all ages.

Have cruised with RCI before, but not again after this cruise. The ship is attractive, the employees are friendly, and the ship is clean-some upkeep needs to be done. My husband and I sailed to Alaska in June on the Explorer of the Seas. This is not our first voyage on this ship but will probably be our last. This ship is badly in need of refurbishment of the "non-feature" types of items. The bed mattress was old and hard with springs protruding. We had to ask our cabin steward for an additional soft top to sleep comfortably.

We chose Royal Caribbean as we have sailed to the Caribbean in the past with them.

Was very disappointed since most reviews for this cruise ship and line are pretty good. Went on an Alaskan cruise, which meant most of the ships outdoor areas were not really usable. This left limited common spaces to hang out. Food was mediocre, but I did always have something I could eat. Interior room was pretty spacious. Overall, my review would be a 3.5/5 here.

Chose the cruise for the location. It was a short flight from Phoenix and my friend had never cruised before and we liked the ports of call.
Enjoyed all the ports of call and the availability of assistance at each port of call. I choose to do my own exploring and not to use ship shore excursions and there was plenty of information and assistance at each port of call.

Probably one of our least favorite cruises. A real disappointment. Cabin attendant had no eye for detail. For example, missing or the wrong daily planners.
